Tatum Thomason scored her first two professional goals to give DC their first home win of the season.

DC Power FC rode a brace from Tatum Thomason to a late win against Fort Lauderdale United FC on Tuesday afternoon at Audi Field. Thomason's two goals were enough to offset Abi Hugh's goal for the visitors. It was a sloppy, slow match on what was a wet and dreary midday match at Audi Field, and while the team didn't play to their best, they were happy to take the win.

After the summer transfer window has completed, DC United has maintained its club profile status. Today, Major League Soccer released the updated club profiles for each of the 30 teams in the league. DC United, as they were when the club profiles were announced at the beginning of the season, has positioned itself as a U22 Initiative roster. With a U22 Initiative club profile, a club can have up to two Designated Players and up to four U22 Initiative Players.

DC Power was able to get the draw last weekend against Sporting Jacksonville, but want to get back to their winnings ways. Currently, DC Power sits third in the USL Super League table with 7 points from 4 matches, but they are 3 points under Sporting Jacksonville and 5 points behind Carolina Ascent for the top spot.

DC United wasn't able to muster much on the night, but before 14,189 at Audi Field on Saturday night they were able to leave with a scoreless draw against Atlanta United. DC United had to hold on to defeat the Columbus Crew 2-1 on Wednesday night before a crowd of 10,115 at Audi Field. Tai Baribo was the hero for the Black-and-Red with two first half goals, while Santi Rodriguez had the goal for the Crew. The match started out fairly slow as both teams tried to gain a footing, and neither side had any shots on goal in the first 10 minutes.

DC United are back on the field with what is expected to be a clear evening at Audi field tonight to take on the Columbus Crew. DC did not get to play last weekend in Cincinnati, as weather caused that match to be postponed. They take on a Columbus team that is reeling, having lost their last 4 matches.
