With the flipper mech apart, it's confirmed a rebuild was needed. The plunger and coil stop both showing their age. I'm also going to convert the assembly to a newer design that Williams adopted just after Whirlwind where the return spring is located on the side rather than over top of the plunger.

A gloved hand shows two pinball plungers for a flipper assembly held side by side. The metal cylinders show a distinct difference in wear. The left one has significant flattening of the end and buildup from the years of play.

Doing a slow strip in my garage... I have a Ms Pacman getting a new decal for the control panel and the joystick really needed a rebuild as well. Citristrip and some plastic has really done well to get it down to bare metal. It's time consuming, (and smells disturbingly like Nair), but effective.

A closeup image of an original Ms Pacman arcade cabinet. The control panel is especially worn, with chunks of the art torn away near the buttons.

Doing some upgrades/maint on my Whirlwind pinball. A marked improvement on the spinners with a cleanup and new stickers. Learning a lot about electrical and mechanical upkeep, but really love owning this game.

A close up shot of a mechanism of three gears of various sizes. Two have had the decorative sticker removed, and the third is partially pulled off. It is clearly worn and faded.

An image of a colorful pinball playfield in red, blues and yellows. The gear mechanism from the first picture has been reinstalled with new stickers. When in play, the gears spin and the stickers have a texture that causes the pinball to fling about unpredictably when it rolls across them.

Got together for games and gifts with friends. One of whom is a big Elf fan, so I made the Pillsbury Buddy Elf hat cookies and this ornament to go along with the main pesent. Everything was a hit! For the low-res 3 color design it's really effective.

A close up photo of a decorated Christmas tree, focused on a single ornament. The branches are flocked in white at the tips, with pinecones and red beading scattered. Simple white lights can be seen lit up. The focus is on a two-tone low res rendering of Buddy the Elf making an excited yelling face. He is featured in green and white, with a round golden background of radial lines.

Who else still loves that 'Atomic Purple' for your electronics? Finally got around to swapping out the shells on my Switch controllers. One is done and it's everything I wanted. Really like seeing all the circuit boards underneath, it reminds me when electronics were this mysterious magical thing.

I've been learning CAD and designing add-ons for mini food collectors: disjointedimages.com/etsy The 'stained glass' doors have been my proudest creation.

Photo of a toy kitchen that has been remodeled with custom printed pieces to replace the drawers, cabinets, and other pieces. A tile backsplash of green and silver pops behind a wooden counter. I am so proud of myself and the progress I've made on custom designing 3D pieces. I have an Etsy shop with #miniverse items and this drawer with a removable insert is the latest work. If this is your type of thing - please take a look: disjointedimages.com/etsy

A series of images showing a small drawer meant for a toy kitchen. It is 3D printed in black and has a watercolor textured drawer liner cut from scrapbook paper in a gradient of blue and pink. There is a divider typical of silverware organizers that is shown installed and able to be removed.

Got a pile of orders in my Etsy shop and so happy that people are loving my designs. I make customizations for Miniverse accessories like the kitchen (it's for a blind-box style food themed resin craft kit). My most recent commission for black and grey 'stained glass' doors came out so nice!

Closeup photo of a 1:6 scale toy kitchen set. There is a white framed door with a black handle that has an inset craftsman style stained glass window. The outer edges are a series of alternating black and grey rectangles and the middle is clear. It is made of resin to make it look like a glass cabinet door.

Fist of Jesus - Spanish short film and it is amazing to go into without knowing anything. Jesus is delivering a sermon when he learns that Jacob's son Lazarus has died; he decided to resurrect the young man but he needs a bit more practice with miracle work.... Hilarious splatter horror.

Poster for a short film called "Fist of Jesus". The title is shown in large carved stone letters on a hill with silhoutted people shambling around. Looming over the letters in a sunset sky and colored in red-orange is a Jesus figure wielding a fish skeleton over his head. One arm is out reached and he is angrily yelling.

Sometimes you just need to mess around with some silly filters. This feels so very 80s album art. The new year is approaching and I'm trying to keep the stress from overwhelming me. No income since June, please let a job come through next month!

Photo of a woman with a faint smile and arched eyebrow, head tilted slightly and right hand resting on her right shoulder. Hair tousled and cascading down her chest.

A filter gives it heavy outlines and vibrant hot pink shadows against peach skin tones and brown hair resulting in a cell shaded comic feel.

The Diamond Painting I posted last month is now nearly done! The orange cat was originally black, but I wanted to model it after my own kitties. I'm very pleased with how it is coming together, as I'm just winging the process. I'll be finishing these fine thicc thighs next Tuesday on stream...
