A new #OpenAccess dataset contains all non-combatant airspace violations in Europe during the Russo-Ukrainian war for the period from 24 February 2022 to 17 May 2026 for which information could be found. The majority of violations occured in #Romania and #Moldova. doi.org/10.48320/605...

Yesterday at the US-Russia talks in Saudi-Arabia, Russia demanded full control of the 4 Ukrainian territories it currently occupies in part. But for the majority of Ukrainians this is not acceptable. The latest KIIS-data on territorial concessions is available here: discuss-data.net/dataset/1f67...

A new merged dataset on attitudes towards #democracy in #Ukraine is now available: It consists of 7 nationwide public opinion surveys conducted between 2004-2024 and is a great resource for scholars working on #democratization. The dataset is in #OpenAccess: discuss-data.net/dataset/0287...

Reading recommendation: This article uses survey data from #Ukraine in order to find out, if #Russian attacks reduce Ukrainian's support for continuing the fight. While they heavily affect the happiness of Ukrainians, the attacks do not shake the belief in victory. blogs.lse.ac.uk/europpblog/2...

Russian Field is said to be a pollster with reliable #data from #Russia. Recently, they conducted their 16th #survey wave about the Russian #war against #Ukraine. It shows a new record of respondents who prefer negotiations (53%) instead of continuing the war (36%). More data: russianfield.com/svo16
The data shows that the share of respondents who favor negotiations instead of war reversed since the beginning of the war. While in April 2022 54 percent of Russians supported the military operation against Ukraine and 35 percent supported negotiations, in November 2024 53 percent opted for negotiations and 36 percent for the continuation of the war.

A new KIIS data set was published that shows the support for accession to Russia in Southern and Eastern Ukraine in April 2014 and 2021/22 (before large-scale invasion). In both periods, pro-Russian support was marginal. The data set is available in open access: doi.org/10.48320/847...
