I've seen my parents enjoy food that I abhor. This one time near Dijon, they had ordered this local specialty called "andouillette," like Haggis. As they cut it, the rest of the table stopped eating. Urgh, that smell!! That's the only time my parents politely thanked for the food they had ordered.
