It's fantastic. I love John D MacDonald and Parker has a lot of that same feel. Spenser is funnier than Travis McGee but they're both from the same mold. I prefer my art to be dated.

It's pretty much an 80s sex comedy structure. Much better executed than it would have been in the mid 00s Cameron Diaz version. Gene Stupnitsky is a solid mainstream comedy director. I loved GOOD BOYS.

watched the fantastic Miami Vice episode "Made for Each Other" tonight. Great example of a network TV action drama having the guts to do action comedy. This ep is one of the best buddy cop films of the '80s.
