Fell asleep on the train ride home and was woken up by a smiling pit bull’s wet nose booping my arm.

Over on my Twitter feed, young people are watching Buffy and Dawson’s Creek for the first time. It’s quite delightful to witness.

NYC vacay is falling into place. Finally downloaded TodayTix and was up until 3am looking for Broadway shows under $100 that doesn’t have an obstructed view. Picked 3 to purchase and the rest will be rush/lottery.

My renter’s insurance does not include earthquake coverage because it requires me to call the insurance company and I really don’t want to talk to anybody.

First weekend in a while when I didn’t set a morning alarm. It feels so good to get more than 5 hours of sleep.

So. We're a bunch of artists and writers surrounded by AI gouging out the soul of Hayao Miyazaki for clout, and triple-fried ghost-written celebrity "novels" written by people who hate writing for people who hate books. I can think of no better reason to dig your heels in. Create out of spite.

Going to Japan and spending $60-$70 per night on my hotel really spoiled me cuz what do you mean a “budget” hotel in NYC costs $300?!!!

Finished Severance. Did NOT like that ending, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The show just really did a great job making me feel a certain way about certain characters that I was like 🤔 by the end.

Also, remember when a lot of good shows just came on regular TV channels that everyone can access instead of paying for multiple streaming platforms? I miss that.

This season of Severance needs to end already so I can stop dodging spoilers, resubscribe to Apple TV, binge watch the show, watch other Apple TV shows for the rest of my 1-month subscription, then cancel my subscription.
