Early morning on the marsh and Grebe is already dressed and wearing the latest in aquatic plant fashion! This Horned Grebe has babies to feed and has just finished diving among the plants to look for food! #Birds 🪶

A Horned Grebe has just surfaced from a dive in a prairie marsh. The marsh is green and the early morning light is warm. The grebe is wet but still showing his rust coloured neck, black head with yellow horns, and brilliantly red eye!
He has a large piece Mcwatt of aquatic plant on his back from the dive!

In positive news, was just reading about an island in Chile that installed open water solar panels and a bunch of tuna and salmon moved in underneath them because the vibrations of diesel energy had ceased. :) The world could be so good if people were just smarter everywhere.
