I live in north-west Germany and we had 29C on the balcony - at noon! In Germany! It'll still be 22C at midnight tonight... This is absolutely insane, legit heatwave a month and a half before the harshest part of summer.

I'm glad FFXIV is moving away from dailies towards more weekly-based rewards with the next expansion. The less compulsion for daily play, the better.

Depends a bit, I guess. I follow French and German news, and at least one big French weather report described this week as "We're entering completely uncharted territories, this is beyond anything we've ever experienced before" (paraphrased). German news are kinda mixed.

one of the things that has consistently kept me going over the last 8 years is involvement in local community. does your area have community gardening or library volunteer programs? can you get involved with public service radio? learn first aid? does your religious org have social justice projects?
