If I ever become a filmmaker, I'm using 30 fps. Not 24, not 29.97, but 30 fps. It's 2026. Everyone's TV is digital now. We don't need to conserve radio frequencies. I'm allowed to use a whole number, and I'm allowed to make it as smooth as I want.

I will settle this debate. BIMONTHLY means "twice per month." The opposite of bimonthly is semimonthly. Semimonthly unambiguously means "not every month." And since SEMI means "half," half of once per month equates to once every two months. bimonthly = 2x/month semimonthly = 0.5x/month

I think I understand why ancient civilizations believed in rain-dances. From my experience, exceptionally hot days with minimal clouds often mean that it will rain within 48 hours. I can totally see an old village experiencing a hot day, thinking "We need rain," doing a dance, then getting rain.

There need to be more English words for smile. We have grin, smirk, grimace, beam, cheeser, and simper. That may seem like a lot, but they seldom give the vibe I want. I always have to use adverbs, like smile shyly, smile malevolently, or smile wryly. That's why I invent words. #writingcommunity

You guys should start going to restaurants and dining alone instead of ordering DoorDash or UEats. I went once. Food was fresher. No reheating required. Service was faster and friendlier. I gave a 10% tip, rounded up, and still paid less than delivery. Went home with leftovers. Best deal ever.
