People can be excited for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 & all of the upcoming games even wanting to buy said items, but still be disappointed in the pricing that’s been pre-determined by the company. Both of these things can be true at the same time. I just had to get that off of my chest. 🤘🏻😤

i think if i could better sum up all my thoughts into one sentence nintendo upping their prices isn’t the problem it’s just the symptom of a much much bigger problem

speaking of lrp (am i using that right) games not only being a luxury item but unique for their value in literal HOURS of entertainment, certainly more to gain (and tougher to develop) than most other luxury

Pretty fucked up to ruin the global economy right after they announced how expensive the switch 2 is gonna be.

LRP that's basically where I'm at tbh. I'm a very "you can't put a price on happiness" kinda person so paying $80-$90 for a game I'll play for hundreds of hours (or thousands if I'm feeling REAL freaky) is pretty reasonable for me. I just wish our wages would rise alongside the cost of our hobbies 💀

I think my overall takeaway is: - Switch 2 console: reasonably priced - Switch 2 games: overpriced - Switch 2 quirky tech demo tutorial: should’ve been free and pre-installed

okay, I don't care about video game prices and I think the "video games can cost less than $60 but they should never ever cost more" people are kinda unhinged but this "physical digital release" concept where you pay for a box containing a code to download your game is actually shit & needs to stop

I would make Fanart for the Direct but I have my commissions on priority at the moment so here’s an old art ⭐️ I’m very excited for Kirby Air Riders and Mario Kart World 💖

6 different Kirbys all doing different expressions reaching for a star; this is a collab piece for a 20th DS anniversary collaboration and my piece was representing Kirby Mass Attack

it really sucks how i think to myself "i should spend time with my friends more, it's always fun" but then when i actually have the opportunity to, my brain does a 180 and goes "that's WAY too scary, you need to just keep doing things by yourself or else, uh, i don't know what but something BAD"
