Often utcs are remote from the GP surgery so not good if you have mobility issues. And there are patients who have quite serious ongoing issues that require knowledge of their condition hence the need to see their own gp.

With Reform getting Andrea Jenkyns & now Nadine Dorries to join them, it’s possible that political heavyweights such as: Jonathan Gullis Dominic Raab Gavin Williamson Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng might join them too. Wow! Think of that. They would be virtually unstoppable! 😳🇬🇧

Honours handed out like sweeties to some of the most undeserving, underachieving, overpromoted clowns and liars to have ever held public office.

What a shocking indictment of the honours system that these people are nominated. A reward for failure. Who can forget the verbal hoops that these people jumped through to justify the Rwanda scheme. Nobody who has been in power seems motivated to do the right thing these days.

Making economic growth the overriding purpose, to which all else must be sacrificed, not only trashes ecological and social values. It's also spectacularly bad politics. Governments can't control growth, but when it dips, this government, by its own criteria, fails. A rod for its own back.

I don’t see this at all. Will it stop developers building houses on the edge of villages. Will it stop developers building houses where the infrastructure is inadequate. Will it build more affordable housing and deliver growth uniformly across the country.

Why do people buy this bullshit of being high tax. If we indeed we are high tax this is because the UK has excellent public services some of which are the envy of the world. There is also a high proportion of millionaires who do not need the cash and can afford to pay higher taxes.
