Games feel like the opposite of movies in the sense that the sequel is usually considered better. When is the last time you saw someone talking about Team Fortress Classic

Mario in the backrooms (he has to run from Captain Clark and Hello Neighbor)

That's true but I do think Mighty No. 9 for Apple Watch was pretty underrated

Everyone is jealous that I have Mighty No. 9 for GBA and they don't

Like yeah sure I'll trust your website that redirects me to download shit every 5 seconds and has the suspiciously smooth emoji animations that every fucking virus site uses

Someone sent me a tweet from the dogshit website and I looked at it and holy shit the twitter browser website is actually fucking horrific. It doesn't even look official. I feel like I'm going to get a virus just looking at it.

you arent a burden. you are a human being with wants and needs. having desires does not make you selfish. unless you are sonic, in which case you are not human and everything you do sickens me.

That's fair, but like Vampire Survivors is also free on mobile

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Like actually what is the point here? It really just feels like a game that ISAB will play for about a month and then as soon as he stops everyone will forget about it.

030

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Genuinely who is the target audience of Bloons Blitz? It doesn't have any similarities to Bloons Tower Defense beyond aesthetic, so fans of that probably won't care. Vampire Survivors fans will probably just play Vampire Survivors instead, because this doesn't do much of anything new.

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Ok people love our game series, because of its unique gameplay that takes a fresh spin on an otherwise repetitive genre. You know what we've gotta do. That's right. We need to make an uninspired vampire survivors clone.

What if sonic.exe was Markiplier and instead of playing his game you had to follow his five special rules

020

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

In fairness that's partly because it needed the time in my brain to evolve from "this is entirely implausible and basically just for fun" to "wait actually this reading works extremely well if you think about the original a little deeper and take it at more than face value"

070

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Girls will very unsubtly hint that they're going to make an unofficial sequel to an existing story based on a transfeminine interpretation of the text, and then 9 months later still have not done that yet.

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

This would have the funny side effect of Papyrus being entirely unchanged by it.

020

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I think the whole idea of fresh aus is such missed potential for really interesting character building. Like what if each character infected with the parasite became what *they* find cool? That would leave so much more room for an interesting scenario than "everyone is dippy fresh".

130

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Tbh I really don't get why most Sonic fans hate Sonic.exe so much, like sure it's not perfect but it does a pretty good job emulating Mania's level design

340

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Of course that's not to say that people can't learn and improve or anything like that, but I do think active opposition to transfeminist ideas is a huge red flag. If someone repeats the "Julia Serano has blood on her hands" shit at you, run as far as you possibly can.

050

Emily Dioptase (it/she) @dioptasesystem.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Speaking from experience, if you're transfem and your partner isn't, they should really be very explicitly transfeminist. If they're not, it very likely won't end well for you. If they don't take the oppression you face seriously, they likely also don't actually see you as your gender.

I think it's a little funny how gacha players call their events "banners", like the promotional banner itself is the part that gives you the characters. It's kinda like when someone says "computer" and is only talking about the monitor.
