While watching this both @dionisea.bsky.social and I were reminded of The Buffalo Hunter Hunter. It feels like they somehow share a common essence that I never expected to see on screen.

I've been reading on the Xteink x3 e-reader for nearly a week now and I must admit that this little device is probably my best purchase of this year. I am so very chuffed. #booksy 📚📖

I've been reading Black House by King from what it feels like it's an eternity, but I'm close enough to the end now, I'm gonna push through and try to finish it this weekend as I'm literally itching to read your book. Have you got any book signing events coming up by any chance?

I've followed Neil's podcast for years and really like him as a person, so I was nervous to read Good Boy, worried I wouldn't enjoy it. But boy was I wrong! I was sobbing by the end. I am proud of you @talkscaredpod.bsky.social, what an incredible debut. #booksky 💙📚📖

🎃 Spooktober '25 📽️ 22/ Bring Her Back I've never seen @dionisea.bsky.social react so viscerally to a horror film. Usually nothing phases her but this one really got under her skin.

A ★★★½ review of Bring Her Back (2025)

A little slow, but great concepts and some fantastic shots. Trails off a little towards the end but Sally Hawkins gives it her all throughout.

📚💙👀 #booksy September 2025 So far the best book I have read this year is without a doubt The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by @sgj.bsky.social. Left me heartbroken and angry. It's not an easy read and it shouldn't be. An instant classic.

📽️ 115/ Parthenope The trailer was a total bait and switch. @dionisea.bsky.social wanted to return to her beloved Naples but this was not the way she expected it. A film to experience rather than understand I think.

boxd.it

A ★★★★ review of Parthenope (2024)

Evocative and enigmatic. The reviews suggest the film fails to achieve what it sets out to do for a wider audience but I find myself unable to justify a lower rating. Brought to mind Tinto Brass's Pap...
