So we can’t use any public bathrooms without fear of harassment. We can’t play sports. We can’t serve in the military. We cant have jobs where we might make someone uncomfortable. We’re not even allowed to be mentioned by swaths of organizations. But sure. No discrimination to be seen here.

When JD Vance says he’d eagerly make the United States poorer, weaker, unhealthier, and less free if it means he’ll see fewer brown people around and get to enjoy image of cruelty against them, I believe him. If anything, it’s weird and disturbing that so many still do not.

If the government’s position is that being trafficked to El Salvador by Donald Trump and Stephen Miller amounts to a final and irreversible deprivation of all rights, then it seems to me every federal court has a duty to permanently enjoin the practice as soon as it possibly can.
