Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Shared a couple of beers that were each almost 20 years old. The stout was drinkable but way over the hill, the Old Viscosity was really very good. #Beersky #BskyBeer 1150
Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Somebody asked me why I ‘like’ certain posts that show beers, but not others. Simple, if that’s a beer I would buy/try/drink then I ‘like’ it, if it is not I don’t. #Beersky #BskyBeer 1170

Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I never get into politics here and I won’t now, but I will say that the word ‘fascist’ is being over-used and mis-used a lot these days. 000

Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Shared this 10 year old bottle on Sunday. Still holding up (just) but it felt more oxidized this time around. If you have any, now is the time, and TBH a couple of years ago was probably better. #Beersky #Bskybeer 1230
Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 27/09/2026One of my favorite things about Fortlandia in Fort Wayne, IN, USA is that they brew a Festbier and a Märzen every year, and they are both lovely. 080

Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 24/09/2026It’s painfully obvious to me that if I never drank another beer from a brewery that was founded after approx. 1950, I be utterly content. The beer I’d miss out on would be totally eclipsed by the stuff that I did drink. #beersky #Bskybeer 1340

Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Living in the United States can throw a horrible spanner into the works of the most devoted Englishman’s tea routine, and for a few years now I’ve favored Builders (I think it’s really good), but this month it was equally great to get back to some PG Tips. The quintessential classic for me. 340

Ding’s Beer Blog @dingsbeerblog.bsky.social · 06/09/2026There are 2 main reasons I don’t go to bars or breweries anywhere near as much as I used to. Firstly I’m a legacy drinker, and when 90%+ of the taps aren’t pouring traditional beer, I’m out. Secondly, nobody who is there alone talks to one another. All staring at phones. It’s sad. #Beersky #Bskybeer 120
