noted, noteddd (and wahhh ty!) 📓👀 i was like 'i wanna do a character study at some point of all of die's main party goofballs' different perspectives around a single event' but then i was stuck on which pov to practice first afterward for the inevitable future brainworms...

before i go though if i write some fab/rich which do you guys think you'd have more fun reading from me when it comes to narrative point of view, die's, fabby's, or alternating? lmk! might outline some stuff while i'm gone

managed to beat all the part 1s before i have to go out into the hills, which is awesome, but the next segment of the game has some fucking slog maps and i picked my worst team to do it with with so that's not helping... will pick it up when i come back!

every single member of theo's retinue is so fucking stat screwed in my run except for bonaventure i'm going to explode i can see the very specific 'intended' damage thresholds in chapters i keep clearly missing. i was so spoiled by getting God Buccar and just -gestures at dietrich's starting lineup-

another five second pop in - finished dietrich, very happy with how it went. great great party dynamic, absolutely the best core group banter throughout (some groups are not in a banter mood, understandable) and fabio's va is the best performance in this game lmao. theo time, yay!

buccar getting armor move+ is so fucking good oh my god. the armor knight moving past the rest of my army for 30% of the game is the best thing to have ever happened in fire emblem. what a guy

another five-second update: beat leda route. holyyyy shitttttttt, that is all. dietrich next, then i'm gonna finish up with theo 'cuz i think that order fits best

popping in for 3 seconds to say that i finished cai's route and going from that to leda next is the single funniest tonal shift ever. literally could not have picked a better 1-2 combo. anyway, back to it!

LMFAO you know zelda keeps asking me if i've seen this guy in the ashen wolves in her explore dialogue this month. i still haven't seen him. did i miss something? my last save was before the hyrule castle mission map and i don't really wanna go back just to pick up an ocarina :/

when you're ready to have an absolutely perfect screenshot of three immaculate rows of fodlanlings playing the new game in the friend activity page and then i'm there breaking up the streak i'm so sorry

they knew what they were doing when they had those mystery dungeon icons out 😭 nostalgia managed to override even anime chess... and thank you!!! i love tinkering with the lil' switch icons even if totodile is indomitable atm

the fact he doesn't promote until all of the big EXP maps are over is a bummer, but the bigger problem is feraligite only having 30 uses total, so---

ok it's close enough to time now i'm gonna skedaddle, esp. since i assume reviews'll also start scuttling around soon so 👍 changing my tab for here to just go to my chats and off the feed, message me there if you want to get me or talk about the game! Yap Pact offerings also still available.

dfafjd AHHH thank you sooo much 😭 listen it was such a joy going from being like 'can i write sylvain pov? can i?' early on to then get the Suffering Sylvain Seal of Success and support from y'all enlightened sylvain studiers... wow... walking over to my writing wall and putting this on there

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

made me bark laughing so much bc it's the single most felix piece of narrative i've ever read. it's also a great breather moment!

120

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

what are we to do if there's no you really really gets me so much i was struggling to highlight something because i just keep thinking of the entire thing but 😭the part where felix's narration was like "yeah, we went to the giant yarn ball. it was a giant ball. made of yarn. wtf do you want from me"

120

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

i cannot do the scene thing i have put up one (1) entire fic but. i do have a 'wall of nice things said about my writing' and it is good and blessed and bountiful now, so! thank y'all!

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

try death by the tooth is still bouncing around off the walls in my head even now and it's been a month btw. like i always love when you poke the blue lions with sticks because it's always immaculate but dat fic made me get brainworms about a ship i haven't even gotten 1% of the context on yet 😭

that part of 'the necrophiliac' where felix worked himself into a fervor over the whole thing and hyped himself the whole way getting there and then dimitri's reaction is 'ohhh i see you're the piece of meat they threw at me?' wahhh :')

120

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

some fandoms lend themselves more to that kind of episodic groove too, so if it works for some settings for you and then not at all for others i think that's not a bad indicator of it at all!

011

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

the conundrum and then the brain gremlins on top of it lmao 😭i def. think it's worth a try, though! if it scratches a good motivation itch then awesome, and if it doesn't scratch a good motivation itch then if you quietly shelve that format nobody should be weird about it or i'll unplug their router

210

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

convinced/brainwormed enough to write a follow-up to something rather than a chapter. i feel better putting out the whole thing and running off and then coming back to see what people thought of it rather than being like here, appetizer... later... bc what if they don't like my appetizerrr 😭etc.

110

dimitwi 👻☀️ @dimitwi.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

ya i just like. i know if i write a chapter, i'll spend infinitely longer agonizing over where to cut it off than if i just wrote a oneshot and put the whole thing out there. i think i'd feel better doing the thing where you like. wrangle it into a series with a follow-up oneshot if i was ever

reply with ⭐️ and I’ll give you a letter to list your 4 favorite characters: i got M! this was fun and very funny. what a powerful letter looking at what happened. i also went with the spirit of going for different media and not doubling up, which made the results even more magical.
