adding onto this, SPOILERS__ that bit near the end where everyone you met throughout the game came by to fight the wyverns was sick as hell. really nice way to wrap your whole journey up in a bow. wouldve been better if the main characters were real characters though. solid, solid game.

finished ff3. it's the first one i'd consider unequivocally GOOD! the job system is pretty fun, though flawed. the world map having multiple layers is super cool. wish it kept the same characterization style as 2 and 4, main guys were pretty bland. 7/10. id put it between 8 and 13. onto replaying 4.

probably, i dont actually care about the success of coca cola, but from their perspective as a corporation they're usually very protective of things like this. if a hired graphic designer consistently put out a wonky incorrect logo they'd get fired, so its weird to me that they let the AI do it.

either way the logo is wrong. the letters are all at different heights and thicknesses than the actual logo, which is funny because getting the logo correct in a commercial is like step 1 of making a successful commercial.

a simple black and white comic with 3 panels. in the first one, a bunny guy is talking to a bunny child wearing a shirt with a famous mouse on it. the flavor text reads "(trying to make conversation with a 3 year old). the bunny guy asks, "oh is that Minnie Mouse?"
the child replies, "no, it's MICKEY MOUSE!"
the next panel is a close up of the shirt design with the child tapping on it and saying, "SEE?". the mouse in question has long eyelashes and a big bow and a dress and heels and whatnot.
in the last panel, the bunny guy has 2 warring thoughts: "we have to stop erasing the achievements of women" vs. "ok yeah gnc mickey mouse, fuck it up i guess"

final fantasy 2's "evolution moment" felt a lot cooler than ff1's. like a proto-Magicant from Mother 2. the twist at the very end is neat with Emperor coming back from hell to kill you and leon betraying you. shame this is on the NES honestly. lots of cool fuckin ideas.

now done with ff2. very cool and ambitious mechanics for the time. crazy good ideas, unbalanced grindy mess with awful dungeons and forgettable bosses in practice. very good for my "number-go-up" autism tho. i respect ff2 massively, currently my least favorite under 15. its a 3/10; 15 is a 5/10.
