yes, honestly. certainly without tuition. I've just got a new teacher having left it alone for about 5 years. it makes a big difference. I hadn't played a string instrument before so it's been a huge challenge on intonation and the physicality of the instrument. but it's very satisfying.

I was the first in my London office to hear about 9/11 due to spending all day on an IDM message board which had a lot of Americans on it. Was the first major thing I can remember unfolding over the internet in that way. Also the crazy rumours about hundreds of planes in the air etc.
