Debenhams product range has got really weird lately...

Andy.digitonal @digitonal.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Really special weekend at the Woodbridge Ambient Music Festival with my old mate Myogenic and me playing to a packed yet silent room, performing a deconstruction of The Night Album. Even if I only do one gig a year, it's got to be like this or nothing. Vids coming soon.

Happy #BandcampFriday. Nothing more joyous than refreshing your life with new music. Anyway, as you're likely well aware by now (although I've been trying to limit over-promo), The Night Album is, clearly, out. digitonal.bandcamp.com/album/the-ni...

First pasta sauce made with home garden grown tomatoes and it honestly tasted like the finest food you could possibly imagine. Still savoring it half an hour later. We are sold such a lie aren't we.

I have reached the "wood cheeks" phase of studio based midlife crisis consumerism. Next step, deck savers.

apologies in advance for the flood of posts coming on this. there will be a lot of people to thank for it. Starting with my wife Oonagh for the cover painting which just nailed the "make it Night but not like Night" brief which I gave her. I'm not a great creative director.

There are many things I love about living in Ipswich, but being able to be in the sea within 25 mins on a day like this is right up there.

This Friday! I'll be bringing a bit of ambient calm before the storm down at Mettleworks in Chelmsford. Judging by the clips of their previous tour dates, @sulkrooms.bsky.social and @jamesadrianbrown.bsky.social will be bringing their absolute A-Game to this. Looking forward to it.

Announcing The Night Album, my 5th studio long player. I say 'my' because it's the first one I've done solo. A conversation between generative electronica processes and my own performance response to them. Out 26th June 2026 on Just Music on Vinyl LP and Digital. justmusicrec.lnk.to/ForTheBirds

It's pretty rare that I have something of my own to crow about on #BandcampFriday. Normally talk about other people's music. But this came out this week. Shortish EP of live versions and improvisations around the Set the Weather Fair era material. digitonal.bandcamp.com/album/perfor...
