If there's one thing that Square-Enix really understood about the Beastmaster cmpared to Blue mage? It's that the job was intended for solo play. So even if certain beasts spawn in areas you need groups to enter, you can still get them solo in an alternate way.

Why is it always on us to "Be the better person", but never on the bad actors to "Be better"? Like, people being shit and posting hate filled messages and harassing people aren't a rainstorm you have to dress for - they're people who are actively making a choice to cause disruption.

I have noticed more backlash against multi season shows/Series with multi-entry storylines. It's not necessarily bad writing to not resolve everything in one season... ...But this day and age? A "Next season" is rarely guaranteed. So it feels like we can't get a complete story.

Good advice. However! Bear in mind that this can lead to accidental metagaming. But never attribute to malice what is easily an accident. When you do this? You end up with players who "play it safe" because OOC? They're walking on eggshells.

When discussing player selfishness in MMORPGs in how activity for content decreases when the player base largely declares themselves "Done" with it... I hear so many people say "But FFXIV". For one? You sure about that? It took a limited class with catching mechanics for some duties to reappear.

Dear writers I understand that a lot of stuff has to be go onto the cutting room floor. And it's very dispiriting to put a lot of time/energy into writing something only for it to be cut. ...But please. If it's some kind of key plot/character detail? Find some way to work it in.
