People who want to use AI in things perplex me. What do you mean you don't want to give birth to something out of your own brain like an incorporeal miracle baby? To teach it how to walk on its wobbly little nonexistent legs? To metaphorically feed it and hold it and love it until it's ready to go?

I do digital art for my drawings/comic project (and prefer it that way), but I've also started learning some jewelry making and clay sculpting because the world needs more things obviously made by someone's brain and hands.

I worry what my son's future is like. But he loves to read (He's 3.5 and reads at almost a second grade level), and he sees me drawing and crafting things (and joins in), so I hope he absorbs the joy of actually doing something yourself.

I don't understand what's so hard to remember about gender, especially after corrected. I understand some people are genuinely bad with names, but it kind of reminds me of my ex's neighbor in college calling me, "[ex's] girlfriend]" the entire time to my face. But he remembered my ex's name fine.

Honestly, yeah. Especially since for many of the students, there isn't much to report day-to-day that a weekly newsletter couldn't sum up. "Friday is pizza day. We need parent volunteers for the field trip. The bake sale is at the end of the month. Have a good week."

When it comes to illustration, you'll see I have two styles I use: A sort of painterly/charcoal style and a comic lineart + color style. I'm faster with the former, but willing to do whatever you prefer. I can modify my style, as well, if you want something different. Results may vary, though.

I have a relatively keen (if unpracticed of late) eye for grammar and spelling, as well. I can spot typos and make small grammatical edits as I do layout if that's appealing.
