This is what I love about Odyssey and Bananza. The movement is just fiddly enough to give you some SERIOUS depth. Like, SMO Trick Jumps are absolutely buck wild and you can literally fly in Bananza if you've got the precision of a machine.

Where would I have heard it? I don't listen to the radio, I don't have a Spotify, licensing endures no one I watch will ever be able to incluse it. The only music I listen to is what I actively seek out. If the song hasn't been in Initial D or was written by Toby Fox I probably haven't heard it.

I remember a month or so after Silksong came out a bunch of people were doom posting about how the game "failed" because there was a steep dropoff in active players. My dude, they FINISHED THE GAME. You beat the game then you go move on, this seems to be a novel concept to some people.

We've got a shorter game mode in beta right now, a Bingo Board rather than Dragon Slayer. If you wanted to give it a shot it could use some more testing! The interface is a little finicky, it has to go through a separate client because Java UI sucks major ass to work with and I can't get it to work

It's a Runelite plugin that shows "virtual levels". The levels don't actually go above 99, but XP continues past the roughly 13m XP for 99 all the way up to 200m. The plugin shows what level you WOULD be if there were more levels, using the same formula for determining level thresholds.

Mods are required to disclose AI usage now, and I don't see any on this in the discord. Checking the GitHub, no obvious signs like a Claude folder or contributor, and the developer in the thread seems to be receptive to bug reports and openly communicating issues. This one seems to be legit. Enjoy!

Man, Big Walk might be one of the best games ever. I don't think a game has ever made me feel as connected to other people as it has. It might not get a lot of attention in those "game of the whenever" lists because the experience is the PEOPLE rather than the game but I think that's really special.

It's a fairly recent change. Used to be any "in development" thread that had enough followers could apply for a channel and get one, new rules require they have AI disclosures and publicly available source code. It's a small win but it is at least pushing things in the right direction!

It is no longer voluntary. Any world that wants a channel needs to disclose any AI use. Don't let a couple of slop worlds stop you from enjoying the very human made ones by devs who are at least as tired of all this shit as you are

The AI-Bro Libertarian tech fantasy also means we're free to just cut them out of it and do our own thing. There's plenty of us making actual human made mods solely for the purpose of "we think this thing is neat", you can still have fun with those whole avoiding a lot of the garbage.

Take the power back! Form your own communities, play the games with your own friend groups. Archipelago isn't a thing made by one guy, it's a framework that anyone can contribute to, and while that's let in a bunch of slop, it also means it can't ever be shut down by one person.

Yeah, he personally runs the AP GG website and created the discord. Thankfully, it IS all open source and there ARE other communities available. You don't have to avoid Archipelago entirely because of Berserker. At the very least, Stardew Valley is on your side!

We don't like it either but he literally owns the server. It is physically impossible to remove him. Discord does not have a system in place for taking ownership of a server that the creator of it is still in.

Yeah that was Kaito. The thread you linked was literally a thread made by Kaito specifically asking for the mods to make an AI policy because of slop worlds. You would have had to scroll right past it to find your screenshot.

Kaito is the opposite of fence-sitting. Kaito is the one that actually led the charge for us developers to start including AI disclosures on our own to pressure others into having to do so. You're looking in to a single out of context snippet and passing judgement on a person who you've never met.

The way the token stealers work is that they basically route whatever stuff they're doing through your computer, so it uses the saved session data and authentication from that PC. If you can shut off the computer before they can change the passwords they might not get them.

If the cursor follows that should do it, as long as it's got to actually move it wouldn't violate Jagex's one input to one output rule (and would in fact be like, six inputs to one output) ...still should probably test it on one of my burner characters first though. I'll be keeping an eye on it!

Also interesting to see if this micro-management problem is gonna get worse as I discover even more complicated intermediate chains, or better as I start making designer pals that can fly through hundreds of circuit boards like a fully beacon'd factory all on their own.
