Just constant lying. It is not "Europe" it is the G7. It is not "immediately", but over 4 months.
A social media post by a user named Donald J. Trump with a verified badge. The profile picture features an American flag design. The post reads: "Europe has just agreed to release a massive amount of their heavily stocked Diesel Oil. The process will begin immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT."

Just like JD Vance.
Isn't it a founding principle of the country that the press is supposed to hold government and those in power accountable? Do you believe in that?

It is, but they got to treat you fairly. You know, when they write stories that are knowingly false, and everyone knows NBC's, NBC's bad too, but CNN is terrible. MS Now changed their name because they have no friends.

Well, let's shift to Iran because a lot's going on over there. You initially said that the war would take about six to eight weeks. We're now entering the seventh month. Can you just explain, like, why is it taking so long?

I bet in a few years the majority of revenue for these huge hyperscalers will not be AI companies, but general corporate training and inference on open weight models. I can see a time when companies are minting and training their own models, and the frontier providers are barely important.

I certainly hope Lockheed and any other company that "donates" money for Trump's projects gets a positively brutal ass reaming prosecution. Fines cannot be the only penalty, we need to see prison time for these corrupt mf'ers.
"Trump says Lockheed paid for his new helipad and ballroom." President Donald Trump discussed various topics in a September 28 interview at the White House, including the war with Iran, AI policy, press access, the economy, and White House renovations. Key points include:

- Extending the Iran campaign to destroy nuclear sites, navy, and air force, claiming 159 ships sunk and inflation at 300 percent.
- Defending restricted access for CNN and MSNBC, labeling them "fake news" while supporting a "free press" but not an "honest press."
- Meeting with Dario Amodei on AI, calling it "super intelligence" and warning against over-regulation.
- Criticizing the Supreme Court on tariffs and birthright citizenship, expressing regret over appointing Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett, and desiring justices who deliver "good decisions."
- Stating White House renovations, including a helipad and ballroom, cost taxpayers nothing due to funding from Lockheed Martin and Congress.

The SCOTUS terror regime has landed another body blow to democracy. difopin.com/zaktur3
Supreme Court lets states expand citizenship checks on voter rolls. The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to expand a federal citizenship database for checking voter rolls, despite lower-court findings of likely unlawfulness. The court's 6-3 emergency ruling permits use of the expanded SAVE database during ongoing legal challenges. The database now includes Social Security Administration information, enabling searches by Social Security number and bulk voter roll checks. Critics argue the data is unreliable and may wrongly flag or remove U.S. citizens, including newly naturalized ones. The court stated the National Voter Registration Act prohibits broad voter-roll purges before elections, but states can conduct individualized checks. Texas processed over 18 million registrations through SAVE, with only three people charged for illegal voting as noncitizens, according to the report. EU and six partners seek a stronger, more representative global system. The EU and six co-sponsors launched the Partners for Multilateralism initiative to strengthen international cooperation, peace, sustainable development, and respect for international law. The initiative was launched on 21 September 2026 during the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week. Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, India, and Kenya joined the EU as co-sponsors. The summit responded to geopolitical tensions, conflicts, climate change, and artificial intelligence challenges affecting multilateral institutions. Signatories said the United Nations Charter-based system remains indispensable but needs reform to become more effective, representative, and inclusive. Leaders committed to cooperation on conflict prevention, crisis response, sustainable development, fair trade, human rights, and the rule of law. The declaration reaffirmed sovereign equality, territorial integrity, peaceful dispute settlement, and the prohibition of threats or uses of force. "Heating-oil bills in the Northeast could rise as much as 31% this winter." Bloomberg: tinyurl.com/28bqtmxb
Black Sea attacks tighten global wheat and fuel supplies. The Black Sea conflict is disrupting wheat shipments and driving a broader food and fuel supply shock alongside the crisis around the Strait of Hormuz. Russia and Ukraine account for more than a quarter of global wheat trade, but attacks on ports, vessels, and infrastructure have sharply reduced shipments since July. Egypt, the world’s largest wheat buyer, has received no Black Sea grain for about a month. Ukraine is struggling to move harvests by land and river and lacks storage space. Wheat prices have reached three-year highs, while Ukraine’s neighbors have imposed import bans and prospects for a new shipping corridor remain limited. Vietnam’s Golden Wheat CEO Tue Vuong said canceled Black Sea cargoes left his company exposed and forced him to search for replacement supplies. Diesel shortages are adding to inflation risks. U.S. retail diesel prices exceeded $6 a gallon this month, and the EIA expects Russian refinery outages to affect global distillate markets through the first half of 2027. The disruptions could raise freight, farming, food-delivery, and home-heating costs, with one U.S. group warning that heating-oil bills in the Northeast could rise as much as 31% this winter if prices remain high. Difficult Opinions (@difficultopinions.com) posts a series of tweets. The first tweet suggests that media discussions on wealth should focus on the 90th percentile rather than the 'top 10%', emphasizing the statistical ladder. It argues that those above the 90th percentile should bear most of the tax burden, paying 90% of total taxes. The second tweet continues, stating that protecting the bottom tiers is crucial, as taxing those at the 10th percentile or below could harm their financial survival. It calls for a fair tax policy. The Greenland deal is a normal international treaty, not a MAGA invasion on paper. Berlingske Media: archive.ph/1bFgV
The text discusses how US officials and diplomats convinced Trump that a plan was a major victory, despite it not being a victory for those wanting an American takeover of Greenland. It highlights the principle that countries cannot annex others' territories, supporting the Western rules-based order. Most Americans did not support Trump's idea of annexing Greenland. The situation puzzled American politicians, especially Republicans, regarding Trump's threats against an ally. European leaders were concerned about Trump's threats. Ultimately, Trump sought an exit strategy and, after a conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, announced he would not attack Greenland militarily.

The media could change how we talk about wealth by focusing on the 90th percentile instead of the 'top 10%'. This shifts the focus to the statistical ladder. From a policy standpoint, we should ensure those above the 90th percentile bear the vast majority of the burden by paying 90% of total taxes.
