stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

high tension relationship w/ roma, this movie was kinda boring :/ it's definitely structured better than the first movie, but i think we get too deep into the nitty gritty of the heist for it to keep me interested... if it were up to me we'd have a little more forbidden romance but sigh... 7.5/10

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Don 2: The King is Back (2011) -- "he's a crimelord" the long awaited sequel (i watched this a week after the first LOL)... alright, so srk is way sexier in this movie, like still cheesy but whewf... he still loves tom and jerry tho shoutout to those guys...... mmm but beyond that and don's

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

personally i was surprised to see boman irani as vardhaan in this since i mostly knew him for comedic roles, but he knocks it outta the park imo. i've seen some ppl praising the twist for setting this movie apart from its predecessor, but it jus made me rly sad... but otherwise like 8/10 lol

100

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Don (2006) -- "he's a crimelord" hohoho... this movie is fuckin hilarious LOL. talk about cartoonish srk roles, bro was in the tub bubble bathing, enjoying the fuck outta tom and jerry, living his best life... can't even hate the guy honestly. and in general some great performances,

eyes were the drawn out babulal gags, this movie's a lot more graceful with tonal shifts. i was already in the midst of this assassination plot when it started raising the stakes, and it almost rose to the extent of ridiculousness, but i think they managed to pull it off. a solid 10/10 for me

100

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

ok yay i get to talk abt more SRK movies Baadshah (1999) -- "just plain fun" type of movie i loved this... the set design of the baadshah agency alone is amazingly fun, from all the contraptions to the literal rotating walls... and i loved the story too; compared to Baazigar, whose only fault in my

we don't talk abt maa...... Heroic Times (1983) -- phenomenal visuals. like absolutely stunning. i wish i didn't literally fall asleep during the movie though, it's very much an Art Class movie. like 8/10.

110

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

much time, and didn't really hold the charm of the original, aside from a few good gags here and there. too unfocused, too reliant on cameos, etc etc... 8/10 and 6/10 respectively

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

This is Spinal Tap (1984) -- watched this at my local cinema! was pretty good! definitely needed subtitles but wcyd Spinal Tap II: The End Continues (2025) -- unfortunately has remake syndrome... i mean unless they Meant to make some commentary abt modern docs wasting ur time, this one wasted too

100

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Our Times (2015) -- one of my top 4... i got so in my feels watching KKHH for like the nth time that i really wanted to go back to one of th other romantic reunion classics i love and waow... i still cry everytime... 100/10

100

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) -- i'm not debating nobody about th quality of asam representation anymore, just watch and learn from this movie and then make ur own movie. Enough... 10/10

100

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Faust (1994) -- fun movie, cool visuals, and cool practical effects, but whewf... the lack of music (iirc) and dialogue meant everything was lulling me to sleep LOL, so that's the only thing that bogged it down. but otherwise it's kinda an awesome movie... would highly recommend 9/10

100

stranger @differentdiff.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

like get me up there up man... but well, it seems like most ppl feel similarly so... shrug... thus my mild search for Movie Talk begins... 6/10 otherwise...
