Day 9 - Proof #umitober #umitober2026 Repost (2022)

A comic of umineko no naku koro ni characters in the style of Onion comic artist Stan Kelly. A cartoonishly ugly Natsuhi, sweating and holding a knife behind her back while surrounded by a half-disappeared Kinzo and a crying Battler, is confronted by an attractive adult Erika reading a pile of books. Lambdadelta and Bernkastel look on approvingly from the clouds, and the Lady Liberty from Kelly's comics appears celebrating with a foam #1 finger.
Natsuhi: Those diaries I wrote are lies! I "LOVE" my husband!
Erika: Uh-huh. Mind repeating that in RED?*
Editor's note: *The actual truth.
Erika appears as the cartoonist in the foreground, saying "WHINE-dunnit."
Text is scattered throughout the pic, labeling things. Natsuhi: HYSTERICAL, DESPERATE CULPRIT; Kinzo: DISAPPEARING, MADE-UP NOBODIES; Battler: EMOTIONAL LOSERS; Erika's book: SMOKING GUN; Pile of books: EVIDENCE CONFESSIONS TRUTH; The witches' cloud: AMUSED WITCHES.

like just work with the dog you have lol. idk i dont believe in stuff like that or i'd start telling people all herding dogs are the spawn of satan because i've never met one without behavioral issues (because they all lived in city apartments) 😭

170 0

diesel! — the 5.55 gamer @dieselhands.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

while this obviously leads to badly behaved dogs, it also isn't the dog's fault by nature, and i think broadly casting a breed as Simply Bad is letting irresponsible owners off the hook for a lot. whether it's about a chi or a pittie. it's just a dog

diesel! — the 5.55 gamer @dieselhands.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

i generally dislike and disbelieve this sort of reasoning. if small dogs broadly have any issue to point to, it's the tendency for the owner to fail the dog (because they are small, cute, and "harmless", so it's easier to ignore reactive, anxious, and unruly behavior = issues compound over time)

-cute -small -i live in an apartment -i would need a companion/lap dog that won't go insane if it doesn't have a Job -i wouldn't want a dog with very high-maintenance fur -no force on earth could move me to get a medium or large dog IT'S SIMPLE MATH

The "yuri is male gaze" debate becomes gut-bustingly hilarious once you realize that, more often than not, the genre is created by female mangaka sitting at their desks like:
