💫 Syzygy - #millionsummers #levash #trigun #trigunfic - 30k | M | complete - post-trimax, canon divergence, a weird tender slice-of-life-esque story where knives resurrects that blue thing yay yippee - written for @bluealaris.bsky.social as part of FTH 2026 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/888071...

“You won’t forgive me for this,” Knives said. His chin was angled towards the window but his attention had not been captured by the blur of shifting scenery. He looked, instead, at the person seated across from him. “Will you, Bluesummers?”

Legato gripped the firm cushion beneath him and tried to remember where he was, how he’d gotten there, what Knives could possibly be talking about. His head felt strange. He could both hear and sense the motion of the vehicle they rode. A rhythmic clatter, muted and lulling, so unlike the roaring engines familiar to him.

The compartment they occupied was small. The benches and door were a warm, dark brown. Knives’ hair was black. Legato wasn’t hungry. His mouth tasted like metal. If he were to shift just slightly, he could slip his leg between Knives’ calves, brush their knees together. Perhaps he was hungry.

Still, scattered as his thoughts were, Legato held clarity on one matter. “I would forgive you anything.”

Knives leaned back, crossing his arms. His lips were a pale line. And he seemed a frayed, exhausted version of himself suddenly. Tattered fabric left to bleed its color out beneath the suns.

He said, “Check your pocket.”

Legato’s fingers caught the uneven edge of a rigid piece of paper as the door slid open.

Still funny to me how despite Stampgaze Knives being written to have nearly 0 connection to any of the humans in his vicinity he still has his gay little fascination with Midvalley. He will be endeared to that saxophonist in every universe

#trigun maximum vs 98 vs stampgaze designs (in my head) for legato, midvalley, and milly please appreciate the line art i spent like eight hours making it neat

nine headshots of legato bluesummers, milly thompson, and midvalley the hornfreak from various trigun media. the text says:

max legato: manic wraith nightmare boy
98 legato: "saw a snail today. effervescent."
stamp legato: TEENAGERS SCARE THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME
max milly: you can stay silly through any endless horrors with a big enough gun.
98 milly: the peoples’ beloved princess
stargaze milly: problematic skull to cup size ratio
max midvalley:he is not committing to the court jester bit. he intends to betray the bit, actually.
98 valley: fully committed to the court jester bit to compensate for above ^
stargaze valley: he looks like he struggles to open child safety lids...

It’s funny to imagine the reason Midvalley isnt there is because he refused to attend an event with Knives there. He got Vash a gift but told him I’m sorry but I’d actually rather die than go to your birthday party
