I survived. Driving to work last Monday morning, full of negative thoughts, I nearly drove into oncoming traffic to feel some kind of release. A third attempt. Only potential harm to others stopped me. Recovering on SSRIs, two weeks off work, pacing slowly. I'll find the old version of me again.

I saw enough of this dismissive attitude in the 1990s. We're supposed to be past this. Switching is valid. Having kinks that don't fit a stereotype is valid. Enjoying what you like for yourself, without giving a fuck, is absolutely valid. Once you internalize all that, acceptance is easy.

I can see why it's this way; PDSes are small enough to likely be running on shared machines with a single IP, or running behind a dynamic residential IP. Banning an entire IP is never a great idea in that instance.
