My alter did a cover of a Misty Route song for the Bitume 10th Anniversary CD and it came out great.

I'm game. Probably could have done several of these by genre, TV, OAV or movie, but I'll go with these for now.

9 Anime: Evangleion, Oniisama-e, Patlabor, Lain, Nausicaa, Maison Ikkoku, Jojo, Gatchaman and Akira.

Dichroma's Bancamp Fridays are the same as any other Bandcamp day. We really need to get more stuff out. And I have to learn how to pimp oursleves more effectively.

Had a dream that Dichroma were about to play Saturday Night Live and I don't know why there was no anxiety about not having rehearsed, who was in the band, or where my cables were. But I did wonder what the point was as we have no physical media to sell.

That time I was supposed to interview Hayao Miyazaki for a magazine, crashed Roger Ebert's interview, and then afterwards was told mine had been cancelled and what was I doing there.

I once sold several CDs to Jeff Buckley before a show in Toronto and several of them were mentioned is his 'top 10' things he was listening to in Rolling Stone.

Since Dichroma's music is still new to pretty much everyone on the planet, figured I'd post some old EP teasers as we continue to work on the follow up EP.

Nice to see Apple have this option. Although we didn't do much this year (except continue recording the next EP), I think the numbers reflected that. 🤪

Black Sabbath are the reason why we have nice things in the heavy metal genre.

My favourite thing when watching mixing tips for music on Youtube are those moments when they make a change, bypass to the original signal, and then say 'wow. listen to that difference'. And I sit there thinking 'I don't hear any change'.

I knew my former band had started to make it, not by radio play or being approached by a producer, but when a friend berated me for an hour because we had changed our sound.

I think the close captions person was having a bit of fun with Megadeth's Hangar 18 video.

Clost caption person appears to be stunned by Marty Friedman's playing in the video.

When there's no vocals, the close captions accurately describes the guitar solo.

There are far too many solos in this song, and the caption person is not afrais to point this out.

Had a dream last night that Alex Lifeson called and asked me if I wanted to be back-up guitarist on the forthcoming Rush tour. Which is weird because A) I don't know him, and B) aside from Red Sector A, I also can't play any of their songs straight through.

Heard a bit of the Black Pink concert while waiting for the bus ride home after recording tonight, and it certainly doesn't sound like they use pre-recorded vocals. A lot of flat notes.
