I am deeply saddened and disturbed by the attack targeting worshippers at a mosque in San Diego. Places of worship should always be spaces of peace, safety and community. We stand with Muslim communities here at home and around the world.

On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and honour the survivors. At a time of rising antisemitism and division, we are reminded that nothing is strengthened by hatred or intolerance—we only move forward when we uphold dignity, inclusion, and the well-being of all.

Transit shapes how we live every day. That’s why I’ve worked to improve stations like Yonge-Bloor Station, St. George Station, and Spadina Station — making them more accessible and reliable. Getting around should feel simple. Get in touch with my office and learn more. #toronto #unirose #Transit

The shootings at synagogues in the GTA are horrifying and unacceptable. Places of worship should be spaces of safety, not targets of violence. We must stand together against antisemitism and hatred, which have no place in our communities or our country.

As distant conflict brings pain & division at home, our history as Torontonians reminds us that friendship is stronger than discord. That’s why I’m working with Rev. Wendell Gibbs & other faith leaders to foster dialogue. Thank you to everyone who joined us and showed leadership in difficult times.
