R2 DIY 2 first pass: have the basic cylinder of the body, which has some cooling fans and stuff, and the top of a leg joint

a hollow cylinder of metal with R2-D2's characteristic blue and white coloring, and a curved hip join for one of his legs

DIY Landspeeder complete! I didn't break any pieces on this one. Some of the connections are a little kludgy but it's a homebuilt craft with exposed wiring on one engine so I choose to call that verisimilitude

The completed model of X-34 Landspeeder that Luke Skywalker drove in first Star Wars movie. Elongated body with pinkish maroon paint, a silver windscreen, one turbine engine in the center back and one on each side, one with exposed wiring

zooming into the cockpit so you can see the steering yoke, the seats, the gearshift

tilted to show the stand underneath that holds the speeder off the ground, it is goldfish and has the rebel insignia on it

DIY Landspeeder, have constructed the last engine, the one that is styled to look incomplete. But which ironically took 3 times as long and 3 times as many parts to construct as a complete engine of the same size

DIY Landspeeder: big strides tonight (while watching a zombie comedy movie that seemed to be convinced that it was funny but really wasn't). It is a 3d object with a top and bottom: the seating is inside, it has a windscreen and 1 of 3 engines!

DIY Landspeeder progress, dang there is some really fine detail here. Look at those seats, gearshift, and steering column. Remember these all came from flat sheets of metal that were cut and bent into these shapes

And the other specimen, an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. (we found it intact outside, we did not kill it). when these are young caterpillars they look like bird poops to look unappetizing Older caterpillars have big false eyespots on a swollen end so they look like little snakes to scare predators

We are going to the Science Museum of Minnesota so I am trading in specimens! First is an oak apple, which is not an apple. It is not even a fruit, it is a leaf which has been altered by a gall wasp laying an egg in the leaf stem which forms a ball that protects and feeds one larva

Check out this nothingburger of marketing text (on top of the "flushable" part, I know you shouldn't flush them). "up to 100%". Yes, everything is up to 100%, that's how percentages work. You could wipe with actual garlic and "remove up to 100% of odor and residue".
