I have a bird feeder, it attracts birds which my cat likes to watch... (I had to make it higher that his high jump!) This bird in the photo I haven't seen before, I tried posting the photo to ask if anyone would tell me what it is, but I got no replies. So I thought I would try you.

I have good memories of my visits to Ukraine, and the real people I met there. I sincerely hope that when I can visit again, it will still be Ukraine and all evidence of the invaders will be gone. In the meantime, I wish that you and your cat will see that day come soon. My cat, Kevin agrees.

I wouldn't suggest that any Ukrainian would want a single invader to stay, but in wars, those fighting probably don't want to be there. I don't know how, but my dad was in Germany at the end of WW2, before he returned, he was married with a daughter... (My mum was German and my sister...) No hate!

Several countries have a structure that allows a single person to make decisions that must be followed without question. I don't know if that is good for anyone, but I expect those 'leaders' will not be replaced until they die. In the UK, I don't believe anyone can lead who isn't corrupt...

On 2 of my visits to Ukraine, I met a very nice woman called Julia who worked for the Police in Odessa. I don't have current contact details, so I don't know if she's ok. When it's possible, I want to revisit Odessa, Kiev and maybe even Sevastopol. I am hoping this crazy war will cease a.s.a.p. 🤞

I had been to Ukraine before the invasion, and was expecting to visit again when it put a stop to my plan. I have only seen Kyiv and Odessa, but really want to visit again, and possibly other regions. I wasn't surprised that so many countries haven't helped, their sponsors don't see any benefit...

The weeks when Kevin refused to go out have ended... He overcame whatever was holding him back, and now wants full access. I was hoping that would stop his 04:45 alarm. This morning I let him out at 06:35 but he brought a live bird home at 07:45!!! Fortunately the bird is ok and flew off later. #cat

I should probably consider myself lucky that I got to visit Kiev and Odessa before the invasion. Now all I can hope is that all the territory will be returned and Ukraine can move forward having shown how they grew through the aggression and how to respond wnen it seems nobody else will help.

Is there any chance that EV manufacturers could be forced to follow the new EU rules for changing batteries, making spares available and making charging standard? Every current EV could be considered obsolete soon as battery technology is progressing quickly. #EV #EvRange #EVCharging

Since 'wet' cat food contains so much water, Keving doesn't need water in a dish, but occasionally he will put a paw into the water, and then shake the water off. I haven't seen him drink from a tap, but thought he might try a 'water fountain' as an alternative. Any comments? #cat #cats #water

My EV is only 4 years old, but it can't charge fast, so I use the 3kW plug in charger at home. If I was still doing local delivery work, I could probably manage with the range of around 100 miles, using an overnight charge. Is there anyone who can upgrade such a young vehicle (battery and charge)?

Batteries for EVs are developing fast, but is anyone offering to upgrade a 4 year old battery with slow charging? My Kangoo has answered many questions, but taking over 10 hours to charge and then only having a range of 100 miles, severely restricts using it as a mini camper. #EV #range #charge

I do have an Android tablet, but I only use it to play a word game with a friend. No SIM, so I frequently have to force stop various apps I don't use but can't disable. Recently, when I try to use the osk it expects me to use G voice input. How do I stop that? I now use a bt kbd for text input ...

I coudn't find answers to my qs on EV, 2 years ago. I found a 2021 Kangoo LWB van, with low mileage that I thought I could use as a mini camper. I added caravan electrics a leisure battery, a TV, satellite Rx etc. I tested it at a campsite with standard hookup. Slow charge & restricted range = fail

2/2 He had already eaten, and I was going to save some fish to put in his dish. However, he couldn't wait, and followed his nose to where I was eating. Obviously I had to share. It was the first time he has taken food from my hand! I'm proud he's started to check his 'staff' for their food!

The CDS didn't introduce any local cats to me, so I started looking to adopt. At the last weekend I met Kevin, and after I stayed with him for a while he chose me to be his staff! My hedgehog cafe customers are up and about already. They had big feeds and now eat for 10 to 20 minutes. 5 customers last night, emptied the dish, some also had a drink. Sorry for quality, I will try to export from the recorder onto a flash drive. B&W due to IR lighting. #hedgehog

Politicians for sale (sold) - UK I expect adding road tax to my EV since last year, was inevitable, the 'sponsors' who have been buying influence for decades were probably demanding another tax cut... Voters haven't been represented for a very long time.

Assessment of having a 5 yr old EV: I bought my EV to get answers to questions To stop thinking about the depreciation due to slow charging and range, I thing these are positive: Unlikely to catch fire (no fast charge) Not going to lose more than I paid. Could be ideal if charged overnight. #EV

I bought a used EV (from 2021) to find answers to my questions. Now I worry about who would buy it, knowing the range is under 120 miles and charging is painfully slow. As batteries improve and fast charging is expected, I am thinking every current EV will be made worthless by solid state batteries.
