I haven't had a panic attack in so long, I forgot the signs. Face was tingling. Checked my heart rate & it was through the roof. Took my trust Xanax & my other assorted meds. I'm calmin down a bit but I'm also freezing. Shivering in me timbers. Good times. Heart rate is back down though.

There must be a eukanuba shortage or something is wrong with the supply chain because I ordered a 40lb bag on the 12th & it hasn't even shipped yet. Now chewy says it's gonna be delayed for a few more days. Petco doesn't have any. Amazon wouldn't be delivered til next week.

I didn't see my Dad again until I went to the funeral home. I had never seen a dead body up close before. He was so cold. I saw the bruises on his chest from where I was hitting him in the chest as hard as I could with my fist. I immediately started crying my eyes out. Then that was it.

The EMTs took my Dad to the ambulance & one of them put their hand on my shoulder & told me he was sorry. I stood at the front door & watched them pull off slowly with my Dad, no sense of urgency at all. No lights. He was already gone. My Mom & sister went to the hospital & I just sat at home.

I don't remember hearing anything but Ares outside barking, trying to save his Dad from all the strangers in the house. He ripped the screen off the window & I thought he was gonna jump through the glass. I just walked to the front room & sat on the ottoman with my head in my hands.

My Sister waited for the ambulance & I proceeded to give my Dad chest compressions & mouth to mouth for 8 minutes. The EMTs arrived & I just stood in the next room in shock as they worked on my Dad for I don't even remember how long.

I ran to their room & saw my Dad lying motionless on the bed & he wasn't responding to us at all. My Mom & I moved him onto the floor & the 911 operator told us to give him chest compressions until EMTs arrived. I let my Mom do it while I put Ares & Atlas outside & made room for the stretcher.

Folks are cooking & enjoying their time with family today. 8 years ago, around 2 am, I came home from Walmart with the last few items we needed for the bbq'n my Dad & I were gonna do that day. I heard my Mom yell for me to call 911 & my heart sunk.
