I have been quietly contemplating the 80th anniversary of Trinity - the first nuclear bomb test All my people who knew that day, or knew the days to come in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, have now passed. I begged them to them tell me what they felt and thought when they first learned of nuclear weapons..

This morning Australian Foreign Minister Wong, when asked about the legality of the US strikes, stated, "I think we are all clear that Iran … cannot be allowed to get a nuclear weapon. So yes, the government does support action to prevent that." So apparently the rule of law is optional these days?
