I was really surprised by it. I've yet to run a full campaign of it but I really appreciate how easy it feels to run a pretty robust encounter. It might be my new "test run" game when introducing people to the hobby.

I feel that. I've gotten really great at introducing and building up terrifying threats that will go last in initative, critically fail every save, and whiff any attack that isn't a reactive strike. My players respond by making certain I cannot reactive strike them. CoC? Hot dice folks!
