Something to watch in year 1 of Trump II: two of his core campaign promises — mass deportations & lower inflation — are fundamentally at odds. You can arrest & remove 500k low-wage workers but it won’t give you cheaper food, housing and childcare.

Personne ne devrait être surpris. Mais il reste à voir comment il pourra s'y prendre - il y aura une résistance, qui doit s'organiser, mais il y aura aussi des effets délétères prévisibles. Il faudra aussi voir jusqu'à quel point les militaires coopéreront.

Un excellent point de ce qui viendra avec la promesse de Trump. Au-delà de l'infaisabilité de remplir toute la promesse, il y aura quand même bien des dommages et des tactiques qu'on ne peut encore s'imaginer. L'annonce des nominations de Trump est un signe qu'on ne peut rien éliminer.
