The Gov's cowardice on the National Park decision shows yet again that the SNP will always side with land owners over the rural working class. The communities who need investment and support the park ignored in favour of folk protecting their wealth. No investment, no jobs, no climate action.

🚨 DITCHING FLAGSHIP LEGISLATION ON CLEAN HOME HEATING IS A DISASTER This week the Scottish Govt led a debate on tackling energy bills—yet it's shelving the very legislation (Heat in Buildings Bill) that could help lower them.

This week the Government led a debate in the Scottish Parliament about energy bills and calling for action. We agree with many of the sentiments aired in that debate - many MSPs stressed the need to improve housing. This is what made the sudden announcement to shelve this bill at the end of this debate even more surprising

We would appreciate reassurances that the Scottish Government still has ambition to bring down fuel poverty, help households improve the energy efficiency of their homes and to ensure that new homes built are fit for the future.
