It is ridiculous the amount of DOOL fans who are bitching about articles mentioning that RKK played Bo. Yes, we all know that Peter originated the role. RKK also played it. It reminds me of when fans pitched a fit when RKK took over the role back in the 90s. #soapsky

I'm not in the demographic either. The show is really good though at calling out toxic masculinity and issues of consent. It is a bit fluffy but there is a real heart to Off Campus IMO.

You mentioned that before when I posted their comments about HR. I'll have to take a look at the Pride & Prejudice. I was just remarking on this one because too many reviews dismiss the childhood abuse that Garrett faced on Off Campus.

Badd Medicine's review for 1x05 was definitely better than some I've seen. At least Answer saw right away what was happening to Garrett. I didn't like the one guy saying that Garrett was imagining it. There have been way too many clues to show what his childhood was like.

💙📚 Jack talking about his parents in #TheLongReach. This was foreshadowing for the storyline that happens in #ChasingGhosts. #booksky #offcampus #CW He is an only child not by design, but because he is their absolute miracle—the single, triumphant anchor of light.

A handsome young man with a sharply defined face wearing a black wool overcoat. This is Jack Logan Jr played by Danny Griffin in my AU Off Campus verse.

An excerpt from The Long Reach, Chapter 6, "The Twenty Year Lecture" where Jack is reflecting on the life that his parents gave him.

As the headlights cut through the early evening rain—the exact kind of soft, mist-laden dampness he knows his parents associate with the end of the trial—the ghosts of Jack’s own childhood come rushing out of the shadows to meet him. He remembers the fierce, protective walls John and Grace build around their Back Bay brownstone—the unyielding hyper-vigilance that feels like a second skin growing up. He recalls the quiet, late-night conversation he has with his mother about why she prefers he use the name JJ when they travel, a subtle shield against a lingering, nameless past she refuses to breathe aloud. He is an only child not by design, but because he is their absolute miracle—the single, triumphant anchor of light. The years that followed his birth were filled with silent, bloodless heartbreaks and phantom pregnancies that they left buried back in the Rhode Island woods.

💙📚 #ChasingGhosts #booksky #offcampus Jack doesn't yell. He doesn't puff out his chest. Instead, his smile vanishes completely, replaced by a cold, flat stare that makes his resemblance to his old man terrifyingly absolute. "Careful, Garrison. You’re swinging at ghosts you don't even understand."

A cabin cottage with a nursery. There is a small teddy bear sitting on a chair. This is the foreward for Chasing Ghosts which tells John and Grace's story.

I wouldn't waste my breath," Bella snaps, her voice rising just enough to cut over the pub chatter. "Though I suppose it's sweet that you need a support group of sweaty meatheads just to survive a basic conversation. Must be exhausting carrying around a surname that peaked twenty years ago."
The table goes dead silent. One of Jack’s teammates chokes softly on a mouthful of cider, coughing into his hand.
Jack doesn't yell. He doesn't puff out his chest. Instead, his smile vanishes completely, replaced by a cold, flat stare that makes his resemblance to his old man terrifyingly absolute. "Careful, Garrison. You’re swinging at ghosts you don't even understand."

🇨🇦 Refresher course on What SOGI is and isn't in BC. The Cons are going to use this as a pressure point topic because heaven forbid... checks notes ... schools are inclusive for ALL students. SOGI IS NOT GROOMING! That is what the Cons want you to think so you'll dismiss it.

What SOGI is
1. An inclusive approach / Not a separate curriculum
2. Part of anti bullying and anti discrimination as required by BC law / Does NOT teach kids they are in the wrong body.
3. A set of optional resources. It can teach kids in grade school how to be safe which is important / NOT telling kids that they ARE LGBTQ or transgender. It just acknowledges that LGBTQ people exist.
4. Inclusive for EVERYONE. / Not sex ed
5. Part of a broader learning about diversity, human rights, healthy relationships. You know those pesky things that cons don't want you to hear about.

BC Greens are good. I've always liked Elizabeth May. I remember following their work when I lived on the Island. I wish they had more representatives. For now IMO the only choice is NDP. It sucks because I'm stuck in a CON bible belt. It will never change around here.

This is the biggest thing. BC's NDP is the only party with a leader that can actually do the job. The CONs are a mess with most of them jumping ship. OneBC is a fringe party that will never get enough seats to get power. Those two would bend the knee to Rump. Eby has proven he will not.
