Definitely check out this scouting and optimization app that Drew and I created. It’s a new analytical approach to the balance between talent and costs that scouting departments constantly balance between. We are looking for feedback from people like you!

Hey everyone! After a month+ collaborating with @naveenelliott.bsky.social, we've finally dropped a scouting optimization app -- an app that aids scouts/scouting depts/sickos in watching the most "talent" possible, all while traveling the shortest distance naveenelliott.github.io/traveling_sc...

Scott McTominay just put together an excellent season at Napoli, haters be damned. He’s a total specialist, but he’s not alone; McTominay’s profile can be found all across Europe. I wrote about the box-crashing eight for @thetransferflow.bsky.social: www.thetransferflow.com/p/the-midfie...

Good morning, @theheatwave.bsky.social. A new vision for a 15,000-seat waterfront stadium has been unveiled as the future home of #USLSuperLeague champions Tampa Bay Sun FC. The mixed-use development would also house the #USL's national headquarters. www.uslsoccer.com/news_article...

Professional update ⚽ A week from today I will be rejoining USL's BI team on a fulltime basis as a Business Intelligence Specialist. On Friday I'll be relocating to the Tampa area. I'm super excited to start, and the quick move has led to less posting, so I hope to be back once I'm settled

My PVA updates a month and some change on... Amoh is one of the highest risers of the last month, with Calheira still being the most efficient player in the league by far in terms of on ball contributions. The PIT backline has proven to be solid in all phases, with Suber and Ydrach leading for CBs

Fun team, speedy on the bench for two games now, with Burke back in the mix and Zengue in for Greene. Hopefully today is the day we snap the winless streak

DrewF @dfriberg.bsky.social · 30/05/2025

Time to bring back the elo rankings. Except now I'm using a much lower change factor than before (rewarding consistency) and setting the arbitrary start to 500 (think .500) Pretty expected results. But, looking at ASA's team xG in each match, we can derive an "xElo" value for each team

Had my last 7v7 run with my men’s league team before moving. Craziest cardio session of my life. Never been that useless before - 90’ played at CM - Couldn’t be higher than 60% pass completion - 2/2 dribbles completed (i’ve still got it) - 0/4 shots on target - 6.2 sofascore rating

I have zero positive things to say about our current manager 🫠 too proud to bend when breaking is worst case scenario. We always break

Give me the most disgusting 1-0 win I’ve ever seen. Bruno pen on a controversial foul. A goalkeeping error. I don’t care how just get it done united 🙏

There’s something so awesome about a domestic cup victory by a team outside of the traditional european finishers. Palace even moreso as Eze and Mateta have dealt with different managers, olise + gallagher departures, etc. just incredible stuff all around
