Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Haven't had a chance to play the new Dark Arisen yet, so maybe they did, but have they considered adding cosmetic slots to Dragon's Dogma? I kinda like they way certain pieces look together, but there's that struggle between style and stats. Got pick from awesome wizard hat or razor-thin circlet... 110
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 09/09/2026⑨. Moron And her day once again falls on a Wednesday, (which also has 9 letters, such a strong day). Happy Cirno Day to all the #touhou crowd out there! 081
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Looks amazing! Gonna date myself with this, but the colors remind me vaguely of Bon-bon from the old Little Nemo movie. 110
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Is there a way to wedge a 32X, Game Genie, and Sonic & Knuckles in the middle there, too? 040
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Pictures are working again! Post something stupid from your phone. 020
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Minecraft, probably. Otherwise, I could definitely fall back on HoMM3 and its random map generator. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Drove across a mountain. Totally fine with that. Definitely not in a perpetual state of height-related fear the entire time or anything. Kid took some pictures. Still alive. 000

Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Summer has been 103 different degrees of fun, sweat, and familial heat stroke, but I've missed having that "Dad Time" to sit back and enjoy some of my backlog. Some titles got updates, some expansions got announced, so there's stuff to be played. Hope you've all been doing well! I'll be around~ 010
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Alrighty, here's the game plan for the next couple weeks: 1. Family road trip until the 22nd. Takin' the fam to Wally Wo- sorry, Glacier National Park and back. Hitting Wall Drug like a good Midwestern tradition or something, too. 2. Kid starts school, opening up streaming time again. 3. That's it. 220
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I've been disconnected for a while. Discord, Bluesky, Twitch... bit of it all, really. We've got a little vacation coming up in about a week, too. Still alive and kicking, though. Hope you're all doing well. See you soon, maybe? 110
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 17/07/2026There are seriously more memorable characters that start with L than I would've thought. 001
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 17/07/2026Comment with this "🌟" and I can give you a letter for you to add your favorite character with! Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 15/07/2026I would rather see dozens of scans of amateur colored pencil doodles than a single slop AI render from an account. 010
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Don't know about anyone else, but I was surprised to find out that Dragon's Dogma 2 is getting the Dark Arisen treatment and an eternal ferrystone was released -- especially good for a few quests. So that'll be on my Day 1 Buy list. Not a lot gets on there lately, heh. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Hey all. Still alive, here. Been pretty busy and, with it being summer and having the kiddo home on my days off, the streaming has been shelved for the moment. I'll get back to it at some point, but the current focus is on the dad stuff. Got a handful of newcomers. Did I make it on someone's list? 110
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Do something that would make Mr. Rogers proud to call you his neighbor. 071
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 25/01/2026...everything is on hold for a while. Projects are shelved. Will lurk. Might post. We may need to make some decisions at home. 030
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Better days will come, Meg. Right now, it's terrible and they want us to break, but we won't. The harder they push, the stronger we unify against it. It's not easy, but hold on to your light. Whatever spark of joy you can find for a day, an hour, or even moment to moment. You'll make it. 🫂 130
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026And, since then, I have made my own frills. Maybe not the frilliest frills to ever frill, but they are mine and I like them. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Day 19: Favorite Suppoting Character or NPC Cid. All of them. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Day 18: Favorite Sequel, Spinoff, or Remake Tactics was high on my list for a long while, but... honestly? I have a soft spot for the first Crystal Chronicles game, despite its slight wonkiness. Yes, you were all trapped on the TV, but it was almost like an MMO in your living room with friends. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026'Nother multipost for missed days because... life and all. Day 17: Favorite Soundtrack FFVI, and it's not even close. Every track hits you. From the first note of Terra's Theme to the final fade-out on Dancing Mad, it has its hooks in you. Then, when you think your brain has had enough... OCRemix. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Today's numbers were estimated at 50K, so the warm-weather crowd would have been great. Nothing quite like outnumbering your oppressors 50 to 1. 070
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026So proud of everyone's efforts in our wonderful state. And the countless friends across the country doing their best, too. There's nothing we can't accomplish when we stand together. 010
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 24/01/2026We train the kids to enjoy the cool temps early on. Schools usually don't even start to close until it's -30°F with the wind chill! (Many a childhood memory of waiting for the bus at a mere 26 below) Kudos to everyone who made it out today, and those there in spirit. 010
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 23/01/2026-11°F before you factor in the wind chill, mind you. We love it here, though. Still, I do wish we'd get a proper Minnesota blizzard to really add an extra kick with 14" of snow and slush to freeze the roadways. 120
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Dad used to build these HUGE snow tracks -- basically like a bobsled run -- from the back of the house to the edge of the yard, where a 30ft hill started. And a ramp 5-6ft tall, misted with water and frozen overnight. We'd FLY down that thing and rocket halfway up the other hill across the creek. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Pay attention to what large stores are still open, as they can more easily afford a day without business, and consider the management complicit in ICE's occupation of the Twin Cities. Be mindful of where you shop after tomorrow. 000

Spider Dance at home:media.tenor.comspider-man is flexing his muscles in front of a group of people in a crowd .Alt: A scene from "Into the Spider-Verse" with Spider-Man dancing as people walk by (a nod to an awkward scene in the Tobey Maquire Spider-Man movies). 000

Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 20/01/2026Spell: There's something satisfying about getting that ultimate "clear the battlefield" spell in a game. FF 1's NUKE is no exception. Mind you, with the original spell system, you may not be casually dropping it as often as you could Ultima in VI, but that first cast is always SO worth the wait. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 20/01/2026Day XVI: Favorite Summon/Spell Summon: Once you get it, every boss gets hit with it: FF VIII's Doomtrain. It was both ridiculous and useful. Granted, most of the status effects were moot against bosses, but noting was immune to the (permanent) defense-dropping Vit 0 debuff. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026For better or worse, it reminds me of my highschool Photoshop efforts. Coloring friends' art, making comics... with a cam, stronger rig, and better connection, I'd have gotten into this twenty years ago 😅 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026I've got a bunch of game titles pre-made for future stream use. 7D2D, Borderlands, Hollow Knight, Tropico, etc. All I need to do is swap them in. Might lighten the effect on this one. That gradient is a tad dark. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Alrighty. We're gonna fire things up at some point. Small test run on the new layout. Should, if all's linked correctly, have an onscreen chatbox, alert window, game window, and placeholder slime avatar... which fits for Terraria. Until there's a good crowd, we'll put game titles along the bottom. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026The orange creature looks FAR to healthy, otherwise no critiques. 010
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026The music was fantastic, the encounter itself keeps you on edge the whole time, and, if you go in at a "good enough" level and like a challenge, then things can get exceptionally brutal when Kefka starts countering with some devastating spells. You wait all game for this fight and it's SO worth it. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Day XV: Favorite Boss Fight In terms of FINAL bosses, I've got to give it to VI for Kefka. The gauntlet before the final battle (possibly including the three bosses immediately before the finale as well, if you don't exit and cycle Strago through the paths to pick up his last Lore spells) was wild. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Day XIV: Favorite Summoner Character Okay. I'm a huge fan of the 3D models for Yuna's summons in X (Plus, the Magus Sisters returning? Noice.) but I also have a soft spot for Rydia's story in IV. Skipping the spoilers, because they're good ones, I'll go with Rydia. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Anyhow, Vivi gets it. He revived the Black Mage look -- hidden face, big ol' hat, blue outfit -- after it went missing for a number of years, had an interesting backstory that played into the plot of IX itself, and got a pretty wicked little cutscene during a Black Waltz encounter. 000
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Yikes. Knew I'd been forgetting something these last few days. Anyhow, bulk answer session. Day XIII: Favorite Black Mage Characte Is there a Black Mage other than the FF1 classic and IX's Vivi? Lulu kinda counts since the X crew all start as familiar class types, but that breaks later on. 100
Dex @dexgaming.bsky.social · 19/01/2026Good morning on this chilly Monday! Might be a small stream or two with a couple placeholders on the new layout. Little "Coming Soon" or "This Space For Rent" signs on the incomplete areas like the avatar panel and that big open spot. Basically, I wanna play more Terraria. 000
