Heat pump water heaters are really nifty. Been running this for a couple months now and my electric bill hasn't really changed, but now I'm not burning oil to heat water. (Ignore the janky installation, this is a temporary placement until I get around to removing the old oil boiler)

- Radiator, water pump, thermostat - Flushed out the engine block - Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor - Fuel injectors, cleaned out the fuel rails Seems to be holding all its fluids now, I'm waiting on a fuel pump assembly that I had to order internationally because French.

20 years sitting outside with old gas in it definitely did a number on the fuel system. Put new injectors and spark plugs in it, cleaned the distributor, rigged up a temporary fuel system, and it finally runs. Cooling system work is next. It was totally plugged up.

I'm a little more worried about the cooling system. I flushed it out pretty good but I've read that the PRV V6 can drop cylinder liners due to internal corrosion 😅

Zeus got admitted for radioactive iodine therapy for a thyroid tumor/hyperthyroidism. He'll be in for a few days and I'm nervous not having him at home. It's for the best though, this is the gold standard treatment and it has a 95% success rate.

Just to add some context here. This was me at my heaviest. I was about 300 lbs in this picture, and I'm down to just under 240 lbs now. My goal is to get back under 200 lbs, which I feel is probably a good place for being 6'1"

I can't say upgrading the shifter bushing is a fun experience. Why did they put the fasteners holding the 2 halves of the shifter assembly on the bottom and make it so you have to remove them in place? Why are they torx? Why is the whole thing held in with carriage bolts that fall behind the carpet?
