We had more than 30 people show up for the opening day of our Warhammer slow grow league. About 6 experienced players and the rest relatively new to the game. #wargaming #nerdlings

This isn't everything I took to the Apocalypse #warhammer game, but it is everything that is at least mostly painted (excluding the 50 painted poxwalkers, because I didn't want them distracting from everything else) #40k #nerdlings #DeathGuard

Rising sea levels really ruined the UK, but, on the bright side, it also mostly got rid of Florida, so I think it is a net win? Also, it now has much better pasta, since it looks suspiciously like Italy migrated to its former spot.

Very inaccurate AI-generated world map, with a red circle around the many many islands it thinks the UK is, and a red box around Florida, which is now much smaller and looks like Italy.

I am being bullied in my own Warhammer 40k discord. I have only accidentally slept through, uh, like, 5 tournaments I signed up for. Listen, just schedule your tournaments at reasonable hours and I'll be there. Like 3am. #warhammer #nerdlings

Jon of Arkansas, replying to Devon, 8:20am : have you been working on your sleep schedule to prepare for space hog?
I have a 10:1 return on this bet so I need you to come through
[Note, Space Hog is the 2-day Warhammer 40k GT my local store will be holding next weekend, which I am signed up to play in. I am notorious for signing up for tournaments and then oversleeping and missing them]
Agooddon, replying to Jon, 8:52am : he will answer at around 3pm when he wakes up
Devon, replying to Don, 2:56pm : okay, first of all, rude.
I mean, you're not wrong, but still

We're on Day 4 of not being able to do anything at work because they set my contract to expire and of February this year, not end of February *next* year. We've known this needed to be addressed since Feb 11, why didn't this get fixed before I expired?

Brb, I'm going to go email Disturbed and let them know the Kennedy Center says they are required to perform a concert in my back yard, otherwise they are failing as artists.

"Any artist cancelling their show at the Trump Kennedy Center over political differences isn't courageous or principled —they are selfish, intolerant, and have failed to meet the basic duty of a public artist: to perform for all people," she said.

Working on an Ork Warboss for Orktober. God, my base coat phase is messy as hell. And it is obviously still ongoing. #Warhammer

I mostly paint Death Guard, but lately I've been working on my Infinity stuff and getting the color scheme down for my Leagues of Votann. (Khal here is very much a work in progress but that's the general idea of the color scheme, minus the skin which I haven't started yet)

The minis in question. Like I said, they're not great. They're not going to win any awards. I can see spots I missed, or where I was sloppy. I didn't do much in the way of highlights. But they at least look like I tried.

I'm definitely not the best painter on here, but I'm fairly pleased with how my minis look. Here we've got a shot of the Death Guard army I took to a tournament, a Deathshroud terminator of my death guard, a Stormcast Retributor, and an Ork Mega Warboss.

Army shot of Death Guard minis painted off-white with gold, bronze, and blue.
