Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 03/10/2026As soon as sabs were in the field with them, the hunt ran off to the north and headed back to the meet to stuff their faces with sausage rolls before going home nice and early. 03/06 110
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Within minutes of leaving the meet, sabs found hunt support holding-up a small copse next to Coldharbour farm. This is the exact area where we caught them relentlessly chasing a fox back in March (more on that soon). 02/06 110

Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Just before they entered the moor we were informed by a rider that trespass was illegal and they were calling the police, but after being lectured on what civil trespass was they decided they were going to call the police ‘later’. 03/05 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 29/09/2026With their 'fun' interrupted Gosling made a run for it through the meet at Yadsworthy Farm and up onto the moor, where the already poor conditions continued to deteriorate. Heavy rain and 40mph gusts meant that visibility was very poor. 02/05 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Dartmoor Hunt 29.08.26 Harry Gosling and the rest of the Dartmoor Hunt got a surprise in the early hours of the morning as we appeared out of the darkness right next to them, as they were holding up Grange Plantation and drawing the hounds through the woodland. 🦊🧵01/05 121

Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Amazingly, the fox managed to evade capture and ran straight past two of our foot sabs on the farm track. Sabs remained in position to block the hounds' path when they arrived on the fox's line. 06/18 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 28/09/2026While the hounds chased the fox, Marles and the others walked back to the farmyard, where Marles donned Heard's jacket as a disguise, having realised that our drone had filmed the whole thing. 05/18 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 28/09/2026After a few minutes of digging, the fox was bolted from the rubble and ran into the surrounding scrub, followed by the pack of hounds. 04/18 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Landowner Lloyd Heard and terrierman Tom Bounsall were filmed by our drone moving the rubble and digging at the ground in an attempt to get at the fox, while Marles and the hounds waited to resume the chase. A young child was watching the entire time. 03/18 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 28/09/2026The footage that led to Marles's conviction was filmed by our sabs on Boxing Day last year. Hounds had chased a fox to ground in a large rubble pile at Pudson Farm, on the edge of Okehampton. 02/18 100
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Huntsman David Lewis looked more defeated than ever when he saw sabs turn up. Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 12/09/2026In true Stevenstone fashion, hounds spent some time on the line of deer while the hunt were arguing amongst themselves. Sabs had eyes on hounds throughout. “How the fuck did they know we were here?” 🤷♂️🤫 02/04 121
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Stevenstone Hunt sent packing. 12/09/26 Led by violent drunkard, Anthony Hemmings, the hunt set off from Hoarestone at 8.30am, drew the wooded valley east of the meet followed by a large maize field, and reluctantly boxed up before 10.30. 🦊🧵01/04 132

Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 14/03/2026We spent the day with Stevenstone near Little Torrington. We’ve still got to catch up with several Eggesford and Silverton reports, as well as Stoke Hill and North Dartmoor Beagles and Exmoor Foxhounds. 🧵🦊 01/02 152

Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 10/03/2026With not much to see all day, hunt supporters David Evans and Helen Dunn turned to their usual belligerent antics, both of them seemingly desperate to get their fingers caught up in the propellers of our drone at takeoff and landing. 07/10 121
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 10/03/2026The presence of sabs averted a digout, protecting the hunted fox as well as the resident badgers at the sett. 06/10 121
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 10/03/2026It wasn’t until they got to the Frogmore Copse valley north of Stowford that hounds picked up on the line of a fox, following the scent in full cry all the way east to Island Copse. Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 06/03/2026Given that two days before this, a farm adjacent to these woodlands lost several heavily pregnant ewes to a dog attack, it was clearly not wise/respectful to send a pack of uncontrollable hounds to tear through the surrounding woodland. 11/15 111
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 06/03/2026After some grumpy mumbling and with sabs on his tail, he soon gave up and headed back to the meet. James then got into his pickup truck and alongside some of the quadbikes set off to try to find the remaining hounds. 10/15 111
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 06/03/2026Having clearly not learnt his lesson from the last time he hunted the area, James decided it would be a good idea to put the hounds into the various woodlands and plantations of Swardicott, Waydown, and Newcourt. 08/15 111
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 06/03/2026Some time passed before we found huntsman and hounds heading towards Sheepwash. Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 06/03/2026It wasn’t long before hounds had picked up on a line but were just as quickly rated off by nearby sabs, though terrierman Ben Vincent encouraged them back onto it and the hounds headed north into Upcott Wood. 03/15 111
Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 06/03/2026Stephen James left the meet into an adjacent field and took the hounds straight to a nearby woodland at Upcott Barton and dismounted. 02/15 111

Devon County Hunt Sabs @devoncountysabs.bsky.social · 03/03/2026Hounds picked up some scent and marked to ground at a badger sett we know well.
