I’ve had a blog post sitting in my drafts for a couple of years. I originally wrote it just for myself to process things, but I recently guested on a podcast about the topic. I might just revisit the draft and publish it so you can read it too when the podcast episode goes live.

The story has legs though 🤔

Just through the MCP server, the server parses the page find index itself, no other tools invoked.

Yip, and works locally too, so i.e. my static documentation site can have its index on disk for lower latency / offline knowledge. Potentially it could save tokens.

Not sure how useful it is yet, but parsing PageFind indexes in C# was a fun kata. Built a .NET MCP Server for AI agents to search PageFind indexes, locally or online. Demo: list indexes, search my blog & fetch page. Open source & on @nuget.org: www.nuget.org/packages/pfmcp #dotnet #mcp #pagefind

I'm migrating to .NET 11, first containers with prod loads this week with RC1, it will EOL same as .NET 10, and by then we'll likely be on .NET 12, unless you guys change up things😎 I really like the predictability of STS/LTS now, I for a change makes sense. In reality we update SDK 1/month anyways

I'll respect the outcome, but I'm unsure the politicians will, so this might be weeks of back and forth. I thought it was fitting that yesterday when largest party leader left the stage, Avicii "So wake me up when it's all over..." was playing in the background🤔😎

Mattias Karlsson @devlead.se · 12/09/2026

I'm so happy that we live in a country you can do that. And that we're just not a two party system.

Mattias Karlsson @devlead.se · 12/09/2026

Just about to cast my vote early in the Swedish elections! Even with a queue today, I love it. It’s a privilege to live in a country that lowers the bar to vote and where democratic outcomes are always respected, even if it's not the result you personally hoped for.

When you maintain more than 50 #dotnet OSS projects, an SDK/Servurity update can lead to a long tail of releases, so to reduce the number of releases and ensure the latest bits possible in each release, I've resorted to going in waves based on the dependency graph, automation is nice here.

Generated checklist, issue in private repo, waves of dependencies, when verified on NuGet, the next wave gets updated and released, and so on.

Size/Fit can be a bit more personal with bone conducting as wrong fit really degrades experience, my daughter had to go with Shokz Mini.

For sound I like my Sony WF-1000XM6, Samsung Galaxy bud a close second, the Nothing sounded decent but not as comfortable. That said for the gym and cycling I've switched to bone conducting, using Shokz atm, it's a different experience than noise canceling though, as you have environmental awareness
