Lavar Scott’s grandfather, Wayne, built him a Go Kart when he was 4. Because he was too young to drive one with an engine in it, his grandparents would push him around the track. There was no Plan B. Lavar knew he always wanted to be a NASCAR driver. More here: www.inquirer.com/sports/a/lav...

Two positions groups that impressed me at the Shrine and Senior Bowls: the cornerback/nickel and edge rushers. Both are potentially positions of need for the #Eagles and I shout out a few players who may fit their defense. More here: www.inquirer.com/eagles/2026-...

Former #Eagles teammates Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson embraced for a while last night after Delaware State beat Norfolk State, 27-20, at Lincoln Financial Field.

Before the Eagles-Cowboys game tonight, Jalen Hurts and the Jordan Brand gifted the South Philly Sigma Sharks youth football team with “Love, Hurts” hoodies and Air Jordan 4 white cement cleats. They'll also get access to his "Love Hurts" collection: 🔗: www.inquirer.com/eagles/jalen...

Dorian Thompson-Robinson was a player the #Eagles were interested in during the 2023 cycle. Brought him in for a top 30 visit and had a meeting with him at the combine that year. A developmental QB3 for the Eagles behind Hurts, McKee. Here's what I wrote about him coming out:

#Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell had a monster game against LSU this year (12 tackles, 3 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, 1 FF) and consistently made plays in all facets: PBU in one on one coverage, couple of one-on-one tackles in space, blitzing from depth, winning as edge rusher. Impactful player at 3 levels.

SMU is attacking Penn State just like the way I thought they might in my breakdown of their offense last week. Tempo, vertical throws, etc. More here: www.inquirer.com/college-spor...

Drew Allar had a couple of really impressive throws climbing the pocket, adjusting his arm slot and hitting back side routes for Penn State against Oregon last night. First throw is just insane, making a must-have throw while he's escaping a sack. Second throw was a critical 3rd-and-15 early on.

Because there is a lot of motion pre-snap, from wide receivers, H-backs, sometimes RBs, SHSU can sprinkle play-action into some of the play calls. Opens up quick hitters in the flat, and even crossers attacking a defense flowing to the run action. Forces defenses to send bodies to match the motion.

Doing some digging into K.C. Keeler's offenses at Sam Houston State, and it's got plenty of QB run elements, from QB power, to counter, power reads, pop passes, misdirection, and even some spread triple option to it. It's clear his offenses usually operates with a dual-threat QB at the helm.

#Texas safety Andrew Mukuba can cover so much ground in between the hashes, man. Look at this first play, how he reads the MOF route 20 yards down field and nearly get the INT, something he did do vs. UGA (got one INT later in this game). Runs the alley too, sound tackler. Really good prospect.

#IowaState WR Jayden Higgins is a big bodied wideout who thrives in downfield, contested situations but came away especially impressed w/his tracking and short-area route running. Deceptive route runner who is smooth for his size. Finished with 9/155/1 against Utah on Saturday.

#Syracuse TE Oronde Gadsden II has been a mismatch nightmare all season and he finished with his 5th 100-yard receiving game against UConn on Saturday. Can win as an outside receiver in man coverage and find the soft spots of zone defenses over the middle of the field. Big slot potential in NFL.

What I was most impressed with in #Kansas RB Devin Neal’s performance against Colorado was how he consistently made the first player miss, behind the line of scrimmage and at the second level. A handful of times there was a potential play to be made and made them miss. 287 total yards, 4 total TDs.

The battle between #Minnesota LT Aireontae Ersery and #PennState EDGE Abdul Carter on Saturday was an excellent one between two potential first rounders. Carter was able to quickly get into the body of Ersery, but Ersery’s recovery ability was impressive. Both a stock up battle, fun matchup.

#Texas LT Kelvin Banks had an awesome performance against #Arkansas EDGE Landon Jackson. Shut down both his out pass rush moves and inside counters, and ended up finishing him to the ground a few times as well. Think it was Banks' best performance of the season. Excellent bounce back from UGA game.

My favorite rep from Iowa State WR Jaylin Noel, who’s heading to Mobile. Has some awesome twitch at the top of routes.
