He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius. Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius. Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets. WDYM you wouldn't call Ravenous "good"? It's a fantastic horror film, definitely above average with its substance of comparing colonialism and Manifest Destiny to cannibalism and being a monster. Great soundtrack and performances all... even if one is Jeffery Jones.

One month, 31 favorite horror movies. Not in any particular order. I’m not going to call Ravenous good by any stretch of the imagination but I love it. You pair Robert Carlyle with a spin on Wendigo mythology and I’m here for it any day, plus I’m a sucker for folk horror.

When some comics became intangible online, paper became *visible* to artists again, leading to beautiful new paper comics. Now, when some "art" becomes inhuman, *we* become visible to ourselves again. What beautiful new *human* art might be the result?

Screenshot of a Tweet from Pope Leo XIV. It reads:

"In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgen to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity."
