Abject performance by the Clarets today at WBA today against a fired up Baggies. Can't take any solace in the cricket as Lancashire thrashed by Northants by an innings and 316 runs. Just to cap a dismal day been stuck on the train outside Crewe for over 30 minutes now. Sigh!

New ground tick at @lancscricket.bsky.social Farrington Cricket Centre for the game v Kent. Semi-rural location with buzzards hunting in the next field. Not as peaceful as it looks with trains hurtling along the adjacent West Coast Mainline every few minutes. Great for trainspotters though.

So Parker has finally been sacked. Probably should have gone in December if we were to stand any chance avoiding the drop but not sure anyone could have kept us up with this squad. Very concerning that Steven Gerrard is favourite to take over. At least we won't have to suffer VAR next season.

Well done to Sunderland last night. Without being particularly brilliant were miles better than us all over the pitch for the entire 94 minutes. Burnley were an abject shambles. Feel sorry for the travelling fans. Scott Parker should be collecting his P45 by lunchtime today.

Today we said farewell to our beautiful Maisy. She was a pain in the bum at times but was a gentle soul who was a massive part of our lives for over fifteen years. We will miss her so much.
