I've heard Grant Abbitt's beginner video series is a good one to start with. General consensus from what i know is that the donut sucks ass and blender guru stinks. As someone who tried the donut when i was first starting, i agree with that.

Can't lie I really don't see much of a difference. Plus, Forgotten land is a linear game with fixed camera angles, the new one is open world which is a whole different optimization beast. Not that I'm a game dev myself mind you.

Haha, you're not far off there honestly. When i was working on it at college the project was called Dreamweaver 64 (although the style was definitely more PS1 by the end) and the latter two were just me being like "this is too limiting, lets jump a console generation"

Sonic 1 is honestly probably the least fun of the OG classic games and it's my opinion that sonic should have remained periwinkle blue. I like his dubiously purple tint. I do love the vibes of marble zone and labyrinth zone though, If they weren't so hard i think people would like them more.

Honestly i think putting more timelapse/BTS type stuff on my youtube page might be fun. the whole process of making a model is kind of long but i guess i could break it up into multiple recordings and then edit them together. might even give me an idea as to how long it takes me. (also thank you :D)

Not currently, no. I have been thinking about opening up at some point, but models are so taxing to make I'm not sure I'd be able to on top of uni work.
