The biggest spiders I’ve ever seen in the wild live in a tree across the street. They retreat into the tree during the day and build massive new webs connecting to lampposts and cars at night.

I get Dragon Con post con depression on like day two of the other two conventions I routinely attend when I realize how devoid they are of the fun, community, and interconnectedness of Dragon. I just use Fanime and ALA as filler to tide me over.
