Fun filled busy weekend ahead. I am going to put my phone down as much as possible and live in the present the best I can. So, have a great weekend whatever you do. Get out and vote early if possible! (On our list as well.) Be kind to yourself and others. Love, Dad #Daddyland

Okay, weekend over. Back to step #4 of patio makeover. Pillows and end tables. This is the last in the series. Step #5 is decorating and that i will take my time with. (Searching for vintage mosaic glass brandy glass candle holders to start.) Thank for following along. #Daddyland

Chores, shopping, dinner reservation plans and, cooking in close quarters causing a diversion leading to some "cooking" of the adult kind ; my time management got screwed up yesterday. I didn't post the actual meal prep. #Boyo #Daddyland

Got up before dawn to get my walk in before the heat and humidity kick in. We don't get a horizontal sunset here on this side of the Cochella Valley because of the San Jacinto mountains so I relish a good desert sunrise.

To be honest it was a very odd and slightly disappointing weekend in many aspects. So, swim it off, and here is to a fresh new week ahead. Make it a good one. #TummyTuesday

With this unrelenting desert heat, cooking in an open kitchen sucks because it heats up the entire house. So, the Boyo and I meal prep for easy microwave daily meals and only endure the kitchen furnace twice a week. #Daddyland
