What the................ fuck.

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

... @plutodetective.bsky.social, are the layout of the park and the lake copyrighted? 😂 I'm wondering if the city of Curitiba would have objections. xD

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Yesss!!! With an accurate map of this park and its surroundings as the world! :D

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I love this interpretation A LOT 😂

Show me a more perfect photo. I'll wait. 😁 #capybara #curitiba

A photo of Parque Barigui in afternoon sunlight. Tall houses in the back, the lake in the front. At the very front of the photo, a capybara sits and looks out at the lake.

We're discussing how some people feel quite entitled to your time & @plutodetective.bsky.social goes, "If you show up at my door at 8pm I assume someone needs the hospital or is about to die, and if not, then YOU are about to die. 😤" Truth tbh 😂

010

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

*AND ate all of the things. 😂

Someone: Ooh you went to Brazil? Which famous tourist attractions did you see? Me: I bought a book and some pens.

MAYDAY @plutodetective.bsky.social I FORGOT THEY ALSO COME IN PINK. We need to visit another stationery spot at some point. 😍😁❤️ #priorities

I have probably forgotten ALL of the things, including my own head and my ass, but I'm theoretically packed and ready to go! I'm apparently flying with Lufthansa tonight instead of LATAM (??) and the change of routine makes me anxious.

(Yes, ~3 hours before leaving for a big intercontinental trip is the perfect time to cast on a new pair of socks, what are you talking about.)

010

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Just learned the Turkish cast-on! www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmHT... My toe-up socks will never be the same, in a good way! 😍 Also shoutout to @fowo.bsky.social for spending their morning showing me a different seamless cast-on technique that can only be described as "a motherfucker". 👏 #knitting

What are you talking about, that's literally a loaf of bread? Why wouldn't you have bread for breakfast? It's a great start to the day!

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I just finished The Caretaker by Marcus Kliewer! That sure was a harmless and normal book about house-sitting. I'm gonna find a nice wall to stare at now. :D (It was really good! Not as phenomenal as We Used To Live Here, but that's a HIGH bar to clear so I'm still mostly satisfied.)

010

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I just clicked on a video about P.T. and it says the game was released 12 years ago??? What do you MEAN. 💀 *crumbles into dust and blows away in the wind*

I tried on my Moby sweater WIP and the sleeve finally seems to fit okay!!! There is still some odd bulk at the underarm, but I think that's because I went OVER-oversize with the sizing on purpose. 🙈 For now I will carry on with this sleeve & trust the process! #knitting #petiteknit #mobysweater

I loved this interviewer tbh! Hers was the only clip shown where someone was like 'hey maybe it's fucked up that this happened'. 😤 (Fuck Miguel, always.)

Just finished re-watching RWRB! 🥹 FEEEEELS. I am still craving Henry-and-Philip fic. I truly don't feel equipped to do them justice. But I neeeeeed it. 😭 I started one (1) tiny thing for Pride & it's still unfinished. It's literally just one scene. Why is writing hard?

160

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Whoaaa I found out via Goodreads that Jonathan Sims published a new novel this year?! Now I can finally read Family Business because there'll be one more waiting for me once I'm done! AND soon I'll have a girlfriend to cuddle IN REAL LIFE if the spooks get too scary! 😍 @plutodetective.bsky.social

110

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

OMG RIGHT. I FORGOT. 🙈😂 Who would've thought that those shenanigans would some day come back to serve us! IIIIF that's okay with you I'd love to! 🥰🥰🥰

I can 100% see the Leyendecker! Oh this is gorgeous. For some reason I LOVE his hairline :D and omg the clothes/fabric folds!!! And the colors!! 😍😍😍

I think I need a second edition of RWRB to scribble notes in & attack with text markers. 😅 Highlighted books become unreadable to me (for leisure) which is why I need a second book.

I remembered (!!) that it's #wipwednesday! Here's some #Hollanov, the start of my planned passenger princess Ilya fic. The whole thing is getting angstier than I anticipated, oops.

"Here," Shane said, and plucked the keys out of Ilya's mostly limp grip. "I'll drive."

It was only 11pm, but Ilya was tired. It was the kind of exhaustion that went in deep and found hollow places to fill. He'd known he would be tired. Meetings with potential sponsors were always stressful, even when they ended with smiling handshakes and an agreement. But tonight...

The woman was some heiress in her early fifties, whose rich estranged father had left her a sizeable bundle of wealth. Jewels glittered at her throat and on her fingers. The dark green dress probably cost more even than their table's sizeable bill, which she'd insisted on paying.

Her husband was a few years younger. They'd met at a resort, he'd said, almost apologetic. He was more plainly dressed. He didn't even wear a watch.

The entrée had seen them through the opening pleasantries. The woman told them how she'd heard of the Irina Foundation; why she thought it was a worthy cause to donate to; how much money she was thinking about...

And then she'd started asking questions. Like Ilya and his fucked-up family were some juicy fruit she was peeling, and she was determined to get off every last scrap of indigestible skin and chop up the rest into bite-sized pieces.

I'm sorry, Frankenstein?!?! *runs to Goodreads* :D

110

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I think what I find weird is that SO much looks super realistic- the environments etc- but the characters don't? It feels to me like someone cut out Disney characters, with funky proportions etc, and copy-pasted them into Skyrim. :D

010

Derry ✨ @derryday.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Castle town!!! I just want to take all the screenshots and draw all the buildings!!! It was GORGEOUS.

OH MY GOD. I'm sorry, but can I steal this iconic quote, because holy shit, you are a poet. But yeeeaaaaahhhh, BIG sigh. *HUGS* 💖🪓 (since I suspect I know what this is about, you get an axe emoji too xD)

It will emotionally change you, I think, but not scar. It'll wound you in places but it'll heal those very tenderly. (Also, I too recommend reading the book first!) 💗
